CORONATION Street's Alexandra Mardell is making her TV comeback in new ITV show The Family Pile alongside some very familiar faces.
Alexandra, 29, played Emma Brooker in Coronation Street from 2018 until her departure in April this year.
But ITV has revealed today that Alexandra will be returning to our screens in new comedy, The Family Pile, next year.
The series will be a comedic exploration of one of life’s big milestones, via four sisters who have lost their parents and are packing up the family home to sell.
But even in grief their messy lives go on.
Alexandra will star alongside Sherlock's Amanda Abbingdon, Claire Calbraith and Claire Keelan.

The cast also includes Kieran O'Brien, Richard Pepple and James Nelson-Joyce.
The show is one of a number of comedies announced to air on ITV or premiere exclusively on ITVX, its new forthcoming free streaming service.
Other commissions include Plebs: Soldiers of Rome, Deep Fake Neighbour Wars and Significant Other.
Nana Hughes, ITV’s Head of Comedy said; "The arrival of ITVX gives us more opportunities to commission a broad range of comedies and a dedicated place for the genre to call home.

"We want a huge cross section of contemporary, diverse and inclusive comedy.
"We want to take risks but most importantly we want our audiences to find shows that reflect them and make them laugh.”
Speaking about her decision to leave after four years on the cobbles, Alexandra previously said: “Playing Emma, on the most iconic street there is, has been the best experience of my life.
"Four years have gone so fast. Compared to other cast members I still feel like a newbie, which makes my decision to leave all the more difficult.
"But I feel it’s the right time for me.
“I can’t thank everyone at Coronation Street enough for welcoming me and trusting me to tell so many wonderful and heartfelt stories.”
The Family Pile will air on ITV in 2023.
