Coronation Street’s youngster Sam Blackman (played by Jude Riordan) has been begging his father Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) and Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) to visit Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor) in prison. The youngster was writing letters to his mum’s murderer for months before he was exposed and revealed the truth. Now, he is set to finally get what he asks for but when Harvey reveals a shocking admission, how far will Nick go to save his family?

In upcoming scenes, Leanne tells Nick it’s time to admit to Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) that they can’t afford to buy the bistro and are left devastated.

After months of begging and secret letters, Nick and Leanne accompany Sam to the prison where they sit down with Harvey for the first time.

During the meeting, Harvey gives Nick a piece of paper and tells him he’s got some cash and it’s his to spend on buying the bistro.

Nick is left stunned but will he take the money for the Bistro? Or can he trust Harvey enough to know the money is real?

Later, Debbie approaches Nick and Leanne and tells them that she’s decided to accept their original offer for the bistro.

As Nick and Leanne celebrate the deal, Lynne’s builder reveals that the reason she pulled out is that the place is riddled with dry rot.

Furious that they weren’t told and left to deal with the issue, Leanne confronts Debbie in the Rovers and makes a lunge for her.

Harvey calls Nick from prison and tells him the offer still stands, will Nick make a deal with the devil?

Ed Bailey (Trevor Michael Georges) quotes £20,000 to fix the dry rot and Nick tells Leanne that they need to see if Sam will let them use the money he inherited from Natasha Blakeman (Rachel Leskovac).

However, their plan fails when Sam asserts to them that he’s going to use the money his Mum left him to pay his university fees.

Nick lies to Leanne that he spoke to Natasha’s sister, Melissa, and she’s happy for them to use his inheritance.

She claims that she has signed the paperwork and the money should be in their account within hours, but is everything as it seems?

Has Leanne gone behind Nick’s back and used the money that Harvey was willing to give them?

In other official spoilers, Sam interrogates Harvey during their meeting, until the latter finally gives in and admits he intended to murder Leanne before revealing his Mum died when he was 14.

With his mature mind, Sam offers up the fact that the trauma Harvey suffered made him go off the rails and begins to ask some awkward questions.

In his prison cell, Harvey is clearly rattled by Sam’s visit and picking up his most recent letter, he sets about reading his questions.

The next day, Nick takes a call from Karis telling him Harvey wants Sam to visit him again tomorrow.

As one of the most ruthless villains in the cobbles, could Harvey be planning something against Nick, Leanne and their family?

Should Nick begin to worry about what Harvey could do to his family?

Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9pm on ITV.
