Corrie Tina OBrien forced to change outfit as short skirt dubbed inappropriate

Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien, who plays Sarah Barlow on the ITV soap, made a surprise appearance on This Morning during Friday's edition.

The show had a special episode led by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary, which was held on the Coronation Street set in Salford.

Corrie stars William Roache, Jack P Shepherd and Tina O'Brien sat on the relocated blue sofa as they chatted to the hosts ahead of King Charles' big day.

Tina was seen wearing a pink cardigan, white vest and an ankle length blue and white skirt.

But Tina couldn't help but make a racy confession as the presenters thanked her for rushing over to have a chat while she was busy filming scenes as Sarah.

Tina said: "I was meant to be filming a scene but I've been rushed off set just to come and see you guys."

Alison replied: "You're dressed in character!"

Tina quickly responded: "I was dressed in character but the skirt was so short it was a little inappropriate," revealing she'd had to quickly change before her appearance.

Meanwhile, Alison and Dermot also spoke to royal expert Camilla Tominey and Gogglebox star Gyles Brandreth ahead of the coronation.

Gyles couldn't help but take a cheeky swipe at Prince Harry as he arrives in the UK for the coronation, after weeks of speculation about whether he would attend or not.

As Dermot asked Gyles what he would be doing on the day, and he confirmed he had been invited to the coronation and would be sitting in Westminster Abbey.

Camilla joked: "Not behind a pillar," as Gyles replied: "I will be behind a pillar, possibly with Prince Harry."

Camilla replied: "Maybe you could get some gossip for us for next week."

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
