Joey and Vanessa spotted sharing a kiss behind the scenes, source claims

A Dancing on Ice source has claimed the pair were spotted sharing a kiss behind the scenes of the show.

The backstage source told The Sun: “A number of people saw Joey and Vanessa kissing.

“We were all surprised because until now they’ve danced around what’s happening, you know lots of ‘he’s great’, ‘she’s great’, lunches and attending parties, to the point where I think everyone wondered if there was anything other than a flirty friendship there.

“But there was nothing friendly about these kisses, if you get what I mean.

    “Good on them!”

Nile WIlson odds on to be crowned DOI champion

Leading bookmaker Coral makes Nile Wilson the long odds-on favourite at 1-5 to win the Dancing On Ice final on Sunday evening.

The Vivienne is second best in the betting at 6-1, while Joey Essex is 8-1 to spring an upset.

“Nile Wilson has been at the top our Dancing On Ice betting from very early in the series. He is one of the shortest priced favourites we have had for a final in the history of the show, so it will be a huge upset if he did not go on to lift the trophy," said Coral's John Hill.

Matt Lapinskas admits that two judges aren’t as involved with the skaters

Speaking with the Daily Star, Matt Lapinskas said that Christopher Dean and Jayne Torvill aren’t as much involved in preparations for the show.

The 2013 contestant said: “This is a little secret actually – you see a lot of Chris and Jayne teaching the couples the routine and everything but obviously Chris and Jayne are very busy.

“You see them on Monday when they give you your music and teach you a bit of routine and the rest of the week you’re off with other coaches and you don’t see the again until Sunday.

“So, even though it looks like they’re training you every day, you’re only with them for one day and you’re actually off and in your own hands. That’s why I said it’s really important to listen to the coaches.

“The other coaches work closely with Chris and Jayne but it’s more the coaches and your partner who get you through the week.”
