Davina McCall leaves Channel 4 viewers stunned as she gets contraceptive coil changed on cameras | The Sun

DAVINA McCall has left Channel 4 viewers stunned as she gets a contraceptive coil changed on camera.

The beloved TV presenter, 55, appeared in a brand new programme discussing women's contraception.

It showed Davina explore the methods that are currently available away from the traditional pill.

The one-hour programme called Pill Revolution outlined how the pill is currently in decline as women opt for natural family planning.

During the show, The Masked Singer judge had her own coil replaced by a gynaecologist.

As she lay down for the procedure, the medic talked Davina through the process.

It’s ridiculous that women enjoying sex is still taboo, says Davina McCall

Davina could be heard saying: "So it just opens me up right?"

"It's always a bit uncomfortable, but most women over the age of 25 will know that from having smear tests," she added.

As her old coil was removed, Davina admitted she was experiencing cramping, similar to period pain.

Viewers have praised the star after watching the scenes and took to social media to comment.
