During a classic episode of ITV’s The Chase, Michael, Ross, Joel and Elizabeth all faced Chaser Paul Sinha for a chance to win a life-changing sum of money. During Micahel and Ross’ cash-builder rounds, they left Bradley and Paul stunned after they both managed to bank £10,000. The pair both went on to fly through their rounds and make it back for the Final Chase.

Michael was first up and set the team in good stead when he managed to bank £10,000 in his cash-builder round.

Bradley was pleased with the positive start Michael had made for the team, however, Paul decided to see how far he could be pushed, and offered him £30,000.

Happy with the £10,000 he had made, Michael decided to stick and ended up flying through the round, making it back for the Final Chase.

Up next was Ross, who was the second contestant to bank £10,000 in the cash-builder round, leaving Bradley and Paul stunned.

“Not bad Ross, how many?” Bradley asked, to which he answered sceptically: “I don’t know, eight?”

“10,” Bradley revealed with the rest of the team letting out a sigh of relief and a big applause for his performance.

Looking confused, Bradley added: “I don’t remember that happening, ever, first two out of the traps. 10 each! Well, time to face the Chaser.”

As Paul took his seat he exclaimed: “Hello Ross. Well I can’t speak for any of the other Chasers but that is definitely the first time two players have got 10 or more in their cash-builders against me.

“So hang around until the end, I think I am going to need a nurse at the end of this session.”

Ross also flew through the round against Paul and joined Michael back at the table ready for their Final Chase.

Joel was the third contestant to take on Paul and revealed to Bradley that he would love to get his driving license and a Maserati if they won the money.

During his cash-builder round, he managed to bank £5,000 and was pleased with his efforts before facing Paul.

The Chaser joked that the car he wanted was just in his dreams, and went on to offer -£5000 for the low amount and £50,000 for the higher offer.

After speaking to his teammates, Joel decided to stick with the money he had made, making it through to the Final Chase and bringing the total up to £25,000.

Elizabeth was the fourth and final contestant, revealing that the money would be adding to her “expensive” shoe habit.

During the cash-builder, she only managed to build £3,000 due to receiving a difficult set of questions.

Paul offered her a low offer of -£9,000 and a higher offer of £55,000, but all the other team members advised Elizabeth to stick with the money she banked.

Unfortunately for Elizabeth, she was caught two spaces from home and was eliminated from the competition, leaving the other three to play for £25,000.

Kicking off the Final Chase, Michael, Ross and Joel managed to get 20 steps in front of Paul, giving him a challenge.

Their hard work paid off as the team managed to push Paul back four times and left him just five steps behind before the timer ran out.

The Chase airs weekdays from 5pm on ITV.
