EastEnders legend Shane Richie is making huge comeback to the soap three years after he fled Albert Square.
The last time viewers saw Alfie, he had been revealed as the father of Kat's cousin Hayley Slater's baby after they had a brief affair.
Despite Alfie trying his best to win Kat back, she struggled to forgive him and he eventually ended up on the bad side of Phil Mitchell after stealing money from, forcing a speedy exit.

Alfie is set to return to Walford this autumn, but the circumstances of his comeback are yet to be revealed.
One thing is for sure though, his ex Kat and her new partner Phil certainly won't be pleased to see him.
Since Kat and Alfie are now officially divorced, she has moved on with her old pal Phil, who recently returned from the dead following a prison attack.
Speaking about his return, Shane Richie said: "It's an absolute honour and privilege to be asked back to my TV home of Albert Square.
"I’m looking forward to catching up with some old cast mates and meeting some new ones.
"The new exec producer Chris Clenshaw has been instrumental in wanting to bring Alfie Moon back with some wonderful storylines… and who am I to say no?! I can't wait."
Chris Clenshaw, Executive Producer, added: "Shane Richie created one of the most iconic, loveable and most memorable characters in soap, and to welcome him back to Walford is an absolute pleasure.
"A lot’s happened since Alfie’s been away from the Square but wherever his floral shirts go you can expect fun, frolics and, of course, the odd porky-pie.
"We’re over the moon to have him home."
EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC
