EastEnders' Bernie Taylor star looks totally unrecognisable after undergoing a very glamorous transformation for a date night with her beau.

Clair Norris, 24, who portrays Bernadette Taylor in the hit BBC One soap opera, looks so different out of character and away from Albert Square.

Her role in the soap sees her don baggy clothes, her signature purple padded jacket and her dark brunette hair tied atop her head in a bun or ponytail.

But now Clair has shown off her real self – and much to the delight of fans, she oozes pure glamour.

And as well as showing off her chic self off-screen, she has also debuted her new blonder tresses.

Looking incredible for a sweet and lavish date night in London with her boyfriend Lewis, Clair sizzled as she beamed for a slew of snaps.

Wearing a black dress, Clair wore her freshly lightened hair down and cascading over her shoulders.

With a full face of makeup, a pink lip, darkened brows and fluttery lashes, the 24-year-old soap star looked incredible as she smiled for a snap while holding a cocktail.

In other snaps she could be seen enjoying the capital city during golden hour with her beau.

Looking totally loved up, Clair and her fella beamed for the camera as they snapped a selfie while enjoying the view from The Shard.

Co-star Milly Zero – who portrays Dotty Cotton – gushed over her pal in the comments section, writing: " So beautiful."

"Love your hair," added one fan who referred to Clair's lighter locks.

A second then echoed: "Your hair looks amazing!!"

"You’re so beautiful. Blonde hair really suits you, makes your eyes so bright," agreed a third.

While a fourth added: "You're so beautiful. Lovely photos x."

And a fifth said: "Beautiful @clair_norris love your hair & makeup to looking good girl."

Clair's only acting credit is in EastEnders as Bernie – a role she has had since 2017.

EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday on BBC One at 7.30pm
