EastEnders male residents are going to be on high alert over the coming months as one will fall victim to the women of Walford, with two wives banding together.

Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) recently lost out on the chance of her dream honeymoon and quickly learnt that Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) would be going on the Greek cruise instead of her.

She was later pushed over the edge when Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) attempted to teach Suki Greek in the café, believing them to be rubbing it in.

Kathy was later proven wrong when eavesdropping on their conversation and realised that Suki had been kept in the dark about the origin of her “romantic holiday”.

Vinny told Kathy that Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) had put in all the effort to show Suki how much he loved her, and the Walford icon couldn’t help but inform Suki of the truth.

The reason they were in this mess was because of Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley), leaving Kathy to demand he reveal what had happened to Suki.

However, after failing to go through with it, an exasperated Kathy broke the news to Suki leaving her furious and speechless.

Despite feeling smug about revealing the truth to Suki, Kathy became to feel bad about dropping the bombshell and later told Suki that she was there for her if she needed it.

Cracking open the wine, Katy explained that she couldn’t watch Suki being lied to, and explained that she knew exactly how she was feeling.

Suki was at first reluctant to see Kathy as a victim, but Kathy pointed out that she was one who fights back, having already given Rocky “both barrels”.

Suki went on to point out that she wasn’t one for ranting, but she could get behind the idea of giving Nish a talking to.

Could this be yet another hint as to who will be the victim of the upcoming Christmas Day murder?

After the trailer was released, eagle-eyed viewers noticed that Kathy gives a concerned look to Suki, just before Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) pronounces him dead.

Could Kathy be acknowledging the success of their plan?

If Nish is murdered at Christmas, this wouldn’t be the first time that he has crossed Suki after already swearing to get rid of him “for good” in previous scenes.

To further fuel suspicion that it is Nish who will be murdered, Kathy actress Gillian Taylforth has previously revealed that Nish will get his comeuppance for stealing Kathy’s honeymoon.

Could she take her revenge too far and kill Nish?
