MAFS star Gemma Rose shares results two months after gastric sleeve surgery

Married at First Sight star Gemma Rose has revealed the results of her gastric band surgery.

Gemma, who married Matt Murray on the UK version of the show, uploaded two side-by-side before and after pictures, revealing she's had weight loss surgery.

The first picture showed Gemma taking a mirror picture during after procedure, with the star seen wearing a hospital bracelet, with a cannula inserted into her arm.

In the image, the tatted-up beauty wears her hair scraped-back as she reveals a large bandage covering an incision on her stomach.

In the second image, Gemma shows off her results, wearing a tight pair of black leggings and a matching crop top, as she unveils a noticeably slimmed-down figure.

She tagged her plastic surgeon in the image, captioning it: “Grateful to have changed my life ♥️ @booking_surgery @davidturker1981.”

Gemma's followers were quick to flood the star with compliments, with one saying: “Looking incredible.”

Another said: “Stunning beauty.”

While others shared their personal weight loss journey, with one penning: “You look incredible Gemma, I’m 17 weeks post sleeve op, and 5st 3 down so far, best thing I’ve ever done… it has literally saved me.”

Another follower wished her well, saying: “Hope you’re feeling better, hope you haven't been through too much pain.”

Gemma then also answered some questions about her procedure on her Instagram story, confirming that she had the surgery done in Turkey, adding that her energy levels are now 'through the roof'

And it's not the first transformation Gemma's had since leaving the show, as the hairdresser underwent a ‘makeunder’ to opt for a more natural look.

The TV personality revealed to fans that she had chopped her long red locks into a short bob, showing off her new look with the caption: “STRAWBERRY BLONDE.”

And when one fan questioned if she had also had some of her lip filler dissolved, Gemma confirmed this was the case, saying: “I did yes, but I’m thinking of 0.5 in my top lip.”

It comes as Gemma also revealed that she has a new partner following her tough journey on the show.

The redhead had her heart broken after finding out her on-screen husband, Matt Murray, had feelings for her co-star Whitney Hughes.

Viewers were left shocked after Matt then opted to abandon his on-screen wife to pursue Whitney instead.

But now, after the drama, Gemma appears to have finally got her happy ending after confirming her blossoming romance with a man called Jordan Bishop.

The mum-of-two delighted her following on Instagram when she uploaded snaps of the duo enjoying date nights and taking bathtub selfies.

She tagged Jordan in the images, captioning the post with an infinity sign.
