EastEnders' Lucy Beale star Hetti Bywater looks totally different on boozy day out – nine years after being killed off | The Sun

EASTENDERS actress Hetti Bywater looks a world away from her soap character during an afternoon drink with friends in the sunshine.

Hetti, 28, played Lucy Beale in the BBC1 show for two years before she was killed off in a dramatic 'whodunnit' murder storyline.

The actress had taken over the role from Melissa Suffield in 2012 and the character's death coincided with EastEnders' 30th anniversary celebrations.

Hetti has now been spotted enjoying a glass of wine or two with a group of friends in London's exclusive Notting Hill.

With her long blonde hair loose, Hetti showed off her trim, bronzed figure in a black crop top and yellow shorts as she chatted away.

The former soap star was all smiles and, at one point, she raised a glass of rosé to 'cheers' her pals.

Lucy Beale was played by four actresses after being introduced to EastEnders as a newborn baby in 1993.

Hetti was the last to play the character, who was the daughter of Ian and Cindy Beale and twin sister of Peter Beale.

She took on the role in 2012 and found herself embroiled in a dramatic murder storyline two years later.

Lucy was found dead on the common and no one knew how she met her grisly end.

It was eventually discovered her 10-year-old brother Bobby was responsible and that he had clonked his half-sister over the head with a jewellery box.

Since then, Hetti has starred in an episode of Death In Paradise and played Daisy in Sky 1 show Declicious.

In September 2020, the actress confessed that she "hated" Lucy Beale and was "glad" the character was bumped off.
