Amy Mitchell’s (played by Ellie Dadd) mental health continues to deteriorate in upcoming scenes as she blames herself for her father Jack Branning’s (Scott Maslen) actions. In a heartbreaking plot, Amy will be rushed to hospital after self-harming as her loved ones rally around her to support her. 

Next week, Jack finds out if he will lose his job as Amy struggles with guilt for reporting her dad for attacking Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega).

Jack asks Howie Danes (Delroy Atkinson) to allow Amy and Denzel to spend time together but he refuses. 

Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) urges Howie to build bridges with Jack but he admits he’s concerned.

At the Vic, Jack and Denise Fox (Diane Parish) convinces Howie that Amy is receiving help 

The concerned father eventually allows his son and Amy to meet.

Denzel and Amy have a heart-to-heart in the cafe but they’re interrupted by Nugget Gulati (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) who wrongly tells the schoolgirl Jack has been fired. 

At home, Amy self-harms while Jack gets a call to say his daughter has missed her therapy session. 

He and Denise rush home to find Amy being loaded into an ambulance.

Jack is devastated and promises his daughter everything will be okay but at the hospital he and Denise receive worrying news.

The nurse tells them Amy must see a psychiatrist before she can be discharged.

Jack tells his daughter he cannot lose her before being called into work. 

Denise stays with Amy while back at the square Sam Mitchell (Kim Medcalf) fumes at Kim, Howie and Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) for allowing Ricky (Frankie Day) to deal with Amy’s accident alone.

Jack arrives home still not clear whether he can keep his job and is told by Denise about Sam’s outburst.

He tries to find his son to comfort him but the youngster would rather spend time with his mum.

Denzel reaches out to Amy who asks whether they can get back together in an emotional exchange. 

The families are relieved when Jack finds out he can keep his job and Kim decides to throw a surprise dinner.

However, Kim’s well-intentioned actions backfire when Amy storms off.

Jack asks his boss if he can delay his return to work to help Amy but Denise thinks it’s a mistake to smother her. 

When Jack forgets to pick up Raymond, Denise is hurt and furious with her husband.

She later attends Whitney Dean’s (Shona McGarty) party alone.

Will Denise and Jack’s marriage survive this difficult time?
