EASTENDERS fans are saying the same thing about newly recast Amy Mitchell – saying she's the "spitting image" of her on-screen mum.

The daughter of the late Roxy Mitchell and Jack Branning was totally transformed as she made a shock appearance on EastEnders last night.

Silent Witness star Ellie Dadd has taken over the role – and she made her debut in Monday's episode – and left fans in awe.

Fans took to social media to applaud the soap’s casting choice and spotted the likeness between her and her on-screen mum.

One avid viewer wrote: "Casting of Amy is perfect as Roxy’s daughter", while another chimed: "New Amy properly has Roxy's little scowl".

Meanwhile another posted: "The new Amy is already so good! Great actress and she really does like Roxy’s daughter."

    The EastEnders star revealed to fans she has been diagnosed with breast cancer in a touching tribute to the late Olivia Newton-John.

    The Ronnie Mitchell actress took to social media to pay tribute to the legendary Grease star, and at the same time revealed her diagnosis to fans.

    She said: “This was the most magical of evenings.

    “Olivia and Chloe had come to see Grease in London and we had dinner together afterwards.

    “I was so excited and in awe, she was my childhood. I now start my own battle with this disease and am left feeling deeply moved. #OliviaNewtonJohn.”

      Vicky Entwistle has revealed she’s quit acting over a lack of respect from industry chiefs.

      The actress, who captivated fans as Janice Battersby , has claimed she is tired of auditioning for roles but never receiving feedback.

      She said on Twitter: “Just had a few Zoom auditions. Half of me thinks I’m lucky.. the other half thinks.. any feed back cocky b******s!!”

      Speaking about more auditions she ranted: “It’s just cost me £80 in petrol. Most of the time they don’t even acknowledge you even turned up!! The respect has flown from this industry! I gonna retire!”

      The former homeless man -played by actor Bill Fellows – recently devastated boss Yasmeen after revealing his killer past.

      This came after Stu’s ex-wife accused him of killing a woman called Charlie Walter after they had an affair.

      But Corrie fans are sure they know what is really going on.

      Taking to Twitter, one viewer suggested: “Our working #Corrie theory is the Stu’s daughter killed that girl and he took the blame for it to protect her.”

      Amy Mitchell appeared looking completely different on Tuesday episode of the hit soap.

      The daughter of the late Roxy Mitchell and Jack Branning was totally transformed as she made a shock appearance on EastEnders.

      Actress Abbie Burke has played the character for the last eight years.

      She took over from Amelie Conway in March 2014 but her last appearance on the soap was in June.

      She has now been recast, with Ellie Dadd, of Silent Witness fame, taking on the role.

      Fans were all saying the same thing when this shocking transformation was revealed.

      One wrote: “A new Amy Mitchell recast!”

      A second said: “Amy Mitchell Branning has a new head.”

        Hollyoaks casts Emmerdale legend in new role

        Soap legend Tony Mooney has been cast as the new villain in Hollyoaks following.

        Best known for his time on Scott and Bailey, Mooney is now set to join the hit soap as a character named Les the Embalmer.

        The character will appear on our screens this week, after being introduced as a friend of local villain Norman Crow, who is played by Glynis Barber.

        Mooney appeared on Emmerdale between 2003 and 2006.

        On Monday, the death of Anglo-Australian star, Oliva Newton-John, was announced as many took to social media so share fond memories.

        Tazmin Outhwaite has taken to Instagram to show off her incredible garden transformation after getting a yoga station fitted.

        The former EastEnders actress took to her stories to show off the result, which featured a decking area for relaxing and bathing.

        Tamzin, 51, took to Instagram with the photo of her garden in the sunshine, as she showed off the transformation.

        The actress – who is best known for playing Melanie Owen on the long-running soap – has been busy working on the outside space.

        She revealed how she had put up stunning decking by the grass, which featured a small circular pool for outdoor bathing.

        As well as chairs and sunbeds, the snap also showed yoga mats laid out in the space for holistic outdoor activity.

        Corrie star Katie McGlynn, 29, has shared her struggle with having “big boobs” and reached out for help.

        The blonde beauty took to social media to post a stunning selfie in a low-cut white top, while explaining a clothing issue she was having to her legion of fans.
