EastEnders star Lacey Turner gives fans a glimpse inside home after incredible makeover | The Sun

EASTENDERS actress Lacey Turner has revealed a glowing re-vamped home with a totally transformed living room.

The Stacey Slater star, 34, a favourite with fans of the BBC soap, took to her Instagram page to showcase the finished look.



Lacey boasted how she was able to embrace her "inner carpenter" as she helped to repurpose the TV unit.

The mum of two posted a video of the lounge transformation to her Instagram page, which also included spraying clean the lounge curtains and hoovering the slate-grey furniture.

Yet she wrote in her caption her interior skills were actually helping out a much-loved family member.

The EastEnders star admitted: "So we gave @nannychick room a little makeover!!

Fans were delighted at the fact the well-known star was still putting family first, in addition to the squeaky-clean look of the home.

One wrote: "Good girl looking after your nanny xx," as a second put: "Awwww lovely ✨ Nans really are the best ❤️."

Soap legend Lacey has been known as feisty Stacey since her first appearance in the Square in 2004.

Her sisters are also actresses, with Lily playing Shenice Quinn between 2011 and 2012 on EastEnders, and Daisy playing Rebecca Massey in Hollyoaks in 2011.

Lacey is a proud mum of two, with daughter Dusty, aged two, and her one-year-old son Trilby.

While Lacey is back on the screens, the actress took time off from EastEnders for her maternity leave.

Speaking to OK! Magazine, the actress talked about how she managed to balance her professional life with her family life, claiming she commutes back and forth between the BBC Elstree Centre and her home in Hertfordshire.

"I'm really lucky because although with a big storyline you can be working like any full-time job, there are a lot of times when I'm not needed so it works out perfectly", she said.

"I also live not too far away from the studios so that always makes things easier and I can pop home between filming. I'm always home for bath and bedtime, too."
