EastEnders star reveals Chelsea's devastation as she loses Ravi in prison twist

Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) believes that her relationship with Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) is going well in EastEnders, but things are set to come crashing down as he is arrested in upcoming scenes.

Actress Zaraah Abrahams has revealed that Chelsea is ‘gutted’ when Ravi is arrested by Callum Highway (Tony Clay) at Walford East.

‘By the time Ravi has been arrested, they’ve had a few deep conversations and I think she’s decided that she’s willing to take a chance on him and so by this point she’s just absolutely gutted when he gets arrested’, she explained.

‘She’s seen the connection between Ravi and Nugget, she’s seen that Ravi’s really trying to do good for him and provide a life Nugget deserves and undo some of the terrible things he’s done in the past to Nugget.

‘She’s gutted that this opportunity might be taken away from him.’

This devastating development comes shortly after Chelsea begins to doubt Ravi, thanks to all the warnings people have given her about him.

However, he soon manages to win her back round.

‘He manages to do that by showing her a different side of him and telling her things she wants to hear – talking about commitment and the future, dismissing his past his past as much as he can… giving her the eyebrows and a wink and smooching her!

‘He’s a pretty convincing guy. I don’t think he’s lying about that side of him, but it’s just not the side that it is at the beginning of the relationship.

‘I think he is a nice guy but he’s done some not so nice things.’

Viewers will know that Ravi is not sincere at all in his intentions with Chelsea.

For him, their relationship is all part of a plan to get back at Denise Fox (Diane Parish) and blackmail her into revealing what information Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) has on him.

After Ravi goads her by telling her he plans to take his relationship with Chelsea to the next level, Denise makes a mysterious phone call.

Could she be behind Ravi’s arrest?
