Emmerdale double exit ‘sealed’ as Cain makes desperate plea after Kyle twist

Emmerdale fans think Amy Wyatt and her 10 year old son Kyle are going to leave Emmerdale in light of the shocking news that the youngster was responsible for Al Chapman’s death.

Doting dad Cain Dingle took the blame for his son’s actions however, and has landed himself behind bars as a result.

Kyle has since revealed the truth to his mum Amy, sparking her to consider leaving the village.

Upon visiting Cain in prison, Amy shared that she knew the real truth – leaving him horrified. He then made Amy promise to keep the secret as he begged her to flee with Kyle.

It’s not just Cain, Amy and Kyle who are in on the secret though, as Cain’s wife Moira also knows.

As Cain begged the pair to leave the Dales, Moira encouraged Amy to stay with Kyle.

And while it appeared as if Moira's pleas had worked, concerned mum Amy still seemed hesitant – implying she’s still considering the move.

In light of Cain’s suggestion, Emmerdale fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the matter.

One viewer said: “So Cain thinks Amy taking Kyle away will solve everything and not make them all look suspicious at all? Rightttt”.

“Cain telling Amy she needs to run away with Kyle. That's not a good idea,” said another.

Following Al’s exit from the show, the character’s actor Michael Wildman – who had starred on the soap for three years – admitted that his mum was likely to be very emotional.

Discussing him leaving the soap, he said: “My biggest thing now is picking up the pieces for Mum, as she is going to be crying like crazy. But I don't think many others are going to be gutted Al is dead."

He continued to tell the Mirror: "I did have a lump in my throat when I finished filming because I’ve made some amazing friends with the cast and crew. You share so much together – like having babies, losing loved ones – and I feel like I've made a new family. A job like Emmerdale will always stay with you."

Michael added that a benefit of finishing on Emmerdale is he no longer has to commute to Yorkshire from his Oxfordshire home, which he shares with wife Ceri Ann Gregory and son Lucas, eight.

Following his exit from the show, Michael has already landed a new role on Netflix show Baby Reindeer, in which he plays a bar manager whose colleague has been stalked for 10 years.
