Emmerdale fans convinced Moira will kill Chas after Al affair is exposed

Emmerdale fans are convinced that Moira Barton is going to kill Chas Dingle after Belle revealed her secret affair with the late Al Chapman on Wednesday night's episode of the ITV soap.

Keeping the secret got too much for Belle as she broke down to Moira and finally exposed the identity of Al's mistress, a month on from his death from a gunshot wound, at the hands of Cain Dingle's young son, Kyle.

In order to protect his son, Cain subsequently took the fall for the murder, as he and Al had had a violent showdown moments before Al's death, after he found out about Al's affair with his sister, Chas.

As Belle confessed about the affair to a furious Moira – who is married to Cain – she shares her guilt at not having exposed the secret sooner, saying that Al would still be alive and Cain wouldn't still be in prison if she had.

Fans of the show think that Chas, who is in a relationship with Paddy, is set to be in danger, predicting that Moira is out for revenge after finding out the truth.

Some people took to Twitter to share their thoughts, with one tweeting: "Lookout Chas! Moira is on to you now, better leave the country. #emmerdale."

Another wrote: "Finally. Moira's blood is boiling, bring on the drama. #emmerdale."

A third added: "#Emmerdale I hope Moira makes Chas pay for wrecking her life, just cos she wanted something for herself."

Emmerdale producer Jane Hudson said: "I think the viewers are always going to find it difficult to forgive her for breaking Paddy’s heart.

"But I think what we will start to see is Chas doing her absolute best to right her wrongs, and put other people first and acknowledge what she did."

Viewers of the show will see Paddy finally find out about his wife's affair, leaving him broken-hearted and unsure if he can forgive her.

Meanwhile, Cain's son Kyle has returned to the village with his mother, Amy, and it's expected that he will be revealed as Al's true killer in some explosive Christmas episodes.

Amy, Kyle and Moira were forced to return to the village from Belfast after Matty discovered Kyle’s secret on Wednesday's episode, and blackmailed Amy and Moira to return and scrap their plans to move away.

Earlier this month, viewers were left baffled after Kyle returned to the barn, the place where he killed Al, as he was seen leaving stones in tribute.
