Emmerdale spoilers: Horror shooting as Cain lures Al to murder site | The Sun

CAIN Dingle has been butting heads with Al Chapman for several years, making his life difficult at every chance he got.

But the feud turns deadly again next week in Emmerdale when the tough man makes a shocking discovery.

Many tragedies have fallen upon the Dingles in recent weeks, from Faith's suicide to Liv Flaherty's heart-breaking death.

Yet members of the most famous family in the eponymous village have managed to form a united front – with the exception of Chas Dingle and her son Aaron.

Curious to know why his sister and nephew aren't on good terms, knowing there's something amiss, Cain Dingle (played by Jeff Hordley) questions Chas.

The Woolpack manager portrayed by Lucy Pargeter holds her nerve, refusing to say anything about her fallout with Aaron – as she continues to keep her affair under wraps.

ITV viewers have been frustrated and even disappointed to see Chas be unfaithful to her husband Paddy with scheming businessman Al Chapman (Michael Wildman).

Al has often wreaked havoc within the Dingle family, which led to Cain's strong aversion for him.

Unfortunately for Chas, her brother finds her burner phone after hearing it vibrate and is in disbelief when he finds a string of messages from an unknown number.

Chas' secret is out but matters go from bad to worse when Cain decides to call the number.

Violent Emmerdale showdown for Cain and Al revealed in explosive trailer

Oblivious to who is calling him, Al picks up the phone and Cain's expression darkens as he realises who is on the other end of the call.

Fuming and mourning the loss of his mother whom he held until her dying breath, Cain uses the phone to set up a trap and Al rushes straight into it, expecting to meet with Chas.

Instead, he finds a steely Cain and the business end of a shotgun.

Cain holds Al at gunpoint and his utter contempt at his sister's illicit romance with him is clear.

But Al stays cool-headed and his confidence begins to grow before he strides off, until Cain tells him the gun was only to get his attention.

The Emmerdale baddie prepares to fight his rival and the confrontation soon starts.
