Emmerdale spoilers see Kerry and Chloe make shock discovery after shooting

Emmerdale is set for dramatic scenes next week as Kerry Wyatt and Chloe Harris make a shock discovery in the village after a violent shooting.

Only recently, Kerry and Chloe have been at loggerheads after the latter's one night stand with Mackenzie Boyd, who is in a relationship with Charity Dingle.

Chloe, who is secretly pregnant with Mackenzie's baby, even declared she was leaving the village on Thursday and left Kerry upset over her plans to move to Leeds.

In upcoming scenes next week, Kerry and Chloe are shocked to hear the crack of a gunshot ring out, what will they find?

Unbeknownst to them, elsewhere in the village, Cain Dingle and Al Chapman find themselves in a violent gun showdown after the latter's affair with Chas Dingle is exposed.

In a dramatic trailer released by the ITV soap, it sees Cain discover his sister Chas' burner phone, which has a string of messages revealing her affair, as he calls the number to which Al answers: "Chas, you there?"

The teaser cuts to the two men fighting before they both look over to the shotgun and both attempt to reach it before a blast goes off. It's unclear who has shot who..

While Emmerdale teases over the explosive trailer: "The storm isn't over…"

In the upcoming scenes, Cain, who is filled with a mixture of anger and grief, uses Chas' burner phone to set a trap as Al is left confused to meet a steely Cain complete with shotgun.

At the same time, Chas realises that Cain has found her burner phone as she fears the worse and she's right as her brother holds Al at gunpoint.

As a cool Al’s confidence grows, he starts to stride off as Cain reveals that the gun was only to get his attention and prepares to fight Al.

Cain and Al begin to fight it out before both their gazes fall upon the shotgun lying nearby, they both fight to reach it. As a shotgun blast goes off, it’s unknown whether it's Cain or Al who has been shot…

It comes after Emmerdale boss Jane Hudson revealed that the 50th anniversary ends with a "really big bang" that goes into the "new year".
