From Matt on Strictly to Mike subbing for Prince Harry – whats next for Im A Celeb stars

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me of Here! is set to come to an end for another year, with the 2022 grand finale scheduled to air on Sunday 27 November.

This year's series of the hit ITV show has been filled with hilarious moments and gruesome trials, and has been bigger and better than ever after returning to Australia after a three-year break.

It's no secret that celebrities are inundated with lucrative offers after appearing on I'm A Celebrity, and we're already wondering what some of the class of 2022 could go on to do.

Could Matt Hancock be gearing up to appear on Strictly Come Dancing? Will Owen Warner be looking for love on Celebs Go Dating in the near future?

OK! has chatted to a number of TV experts who have outlined their predictions for this year's I'm A Celebrity campmates' next steps. Let's take a look…

Matt Hancock

Matt Hancock's decision to appear on I'm A Celebrity proved to be controversial, but he might already have his sights set on another reality TV show, one expert thinks.

The former Health Secretary, 44, could be preparing to swap Westminster for the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom floor, 'PR to the Stars' Mayah Riaz predicts.

Mayah also thinks he could put politics behind him for the time being due to his newfound 'celebrity' status.

Mayah said: “I’m A Celebrity has already made him a celebrity. The show will give him a whole new direction, away from politics. His career in politics was flagging, so this has given him a boost in a different direction. I don’t think he is entirely prepared for how his career can change.

"I can see him hosting a political TV show. He could perhaps even go into Strictly Come Dancing next year, if he is able to keep himself relevant. He already has a book coming out soon, after the promotion of that, he could align himself with British Dyslexia Association or Dyslexia Foundation.”

Seann Walsh and Babatúndé Aléshé

Comedians Seann Walsh and Babatúndé Aléshé are no stranger to TV, with Seann having starred on Strictly Come Dancing while Babatúndé is famed for appearing on Celebrity Gogglebox, however the duo could be set for new career ventures after I'm A Celeb.

Seann, 36, and Babatúndé, 34, could be planning to team up after the ITV show to host a podcast or even head out on a comedy tour together, TV expert Jo Threlfall from Embryo Digital has predicted.

“First thoughts, I think Seann Walsh and Babatúndé Aléshé could do a podcast together, as they've both been hilarious on screen. They might potentially collab and do something similar to Rob Beckett and Josh Widcombe's podcast," Jo said.

She added: "Many people love listening to podcasts and video content from comedians nowadays, so that might be something he might explore, along with possibly doing a comedy tour.”

Sue Cleaver

She's famed for her portrayal of Eileen Grimshaw on Coronation Street, but could Sue Cleaver leave the cobbles behind to carve out a career on daytime TV?

The 59 year old soap star took on a "motherly role" in the I'm A Celeb jungle and this could see her join the Loose Women panel after her time on the show, Armarni Lane from Clicky Media predicts.

Armarni said: “Sue has definitely taken on the motherly role in the jungle. By offering sound advice to fellow campmates and being the voice of reason during some camp disputes, Sue’s shown us that she has a real maternal approach to problem solving.

"With this, her current ties to ITV and newly found bond with campmate Charlene White, I can see Sue fitting in well on the Loose Women panel. Other ex campmates enjoy stints on the show, including Stacey Solomon and Katie Price, so the I’m a Celeb to Loose Women pipeline has already proved successful.”

Charlene White

Charlene White made no secret of her love for cooking during her time in the I'm A Celebrity camp and some TV experts think she could be gearing up to showcase her skills on TV very soon.

The mum-of-two, 42, can usually be found on ITV news or the Loose Women panel, but she might be heading into the This Morning kitchen in the near future, celebrity manager Mayah Riaz predicts.

Outlining her thoughts about Charlene's future, Mayah said: “In recent years, Charlene has already seen her career propel as she became a Loose Woman. I’d have imagined her to get on the Loose Women panel post I’m A Celebrity, if she hadn’t already.

"Charlene is known for her cooking, a role she took on in the jungle. So I’d expect Charlene to have a cooking spot on This Morning and her own cookbook. She could also have a documentary visiting West Indies to explore food and cooking through her heritage.”

Natasha Hatherall from PR agency TishTash Communications also agrees and thinks Celebrity Masterchef could be the perfect fit for Charlene.

"As a no nonsense whizz in the kitchen, Charlene’s Jamaican heritage would be a perfect fit to front a range of cooking sauces with a kick – Levi Roots maybe? Next stop Celebrity Masterchef for sure," Natasha said.

She also predicted that fashion and clothing brand deals could be in the Loose Women host's future. The expert said: "It would be great to see Charlene working with an online clothing brand – most spokesmodels fit a certain demographic, let’s see some diversity in age, shape and colour!"

Mike Tindall

He's the first member of the Royal Family to have entered the I'm A Celebrity jungle, and Mike Tindall has proven to be a hit with both his campmates and viewers at home.

The dad-of-three, 44, who is married to Princess Anne's daughter Zara, 41, will no doubt be careful with what he chooses to do after exiting the jungle, but podcasts, books, and even more reality TV could be in the pipeline for the former rugby ace.

Greg Double, from MHP Group, has shared his thoughts on Mike's next career move and thinks he and Zara could be preparing to step into Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's shoes.

He said: “Not since the 2003 World Cup has Mike Tindall performed so well in Australia. He may be off limits to commercial brands, but his popularity could be hugely helpful to the royal brand.

"King Charles has often spoken about a “slimmed down” royal operation, but could his burly nephew-in-law be providing a compelling case for a slightly broader royal family? He is distant enough that any misstep wouldn’t hurt the firm, but close enough that he – and indeed the likeable Zara – could fill “the normal ones” role that was so spectacularly abandoned by Harry and Meghan.”

However, Matt Alexander from Repp Media Limited thinks becoming a charity ambassador might suit Mike more.

“Due to Mike Tindall's connection with the royal family I would be surprised if he was heavily linked to any commercial brand deals; however, I believe due to the strong support he has provided campmates who have been struggling with missing family, mental health and tough tasks he could easily be placed as an ambassador/spokesperson for a national charity.

"We have seen strong male figures taking on similar roles such as Tyson Fury teaming up with men’s mental health charity, Talk Club," the expert predicted.

Or, could Mike return to TV? Celebrity manager and 'PR to the Stars' Mayah Riaz seems to think so.

“Mike has clearly had to have all sorts of permission to get on I’m A Celebrity. There’s no denying his celebrity career will propel from here. He could be taking on presenting roles as a guest presenter for BBC’s The One Show," she explained.

However, Mayah admitted that she doesn't think writing a book would be the best idea for Mike. "I don’t think he would write a book as if he did, it would be about the Royal Family. Although he has told couple of stories from the Royal Family, writing a book to reveal more would not go down well.”

Armarni Lane from Clicky Media agrees that pursuing a career in TV could be a good move for Mike, but predicts more reality shows in the former rugby star's future.

“Mike took huge risks entering the jungle, but has put his best foot forward throughout. Absolutely nothing seems to faze him, he’s been incredibly encouraging to his fellow camp mates, acting as a real Mr Motivator. However, if he wants to pursue a career in TV, he’ll have to tread carefully.

"With reality TV, you often have to strike whilst the iron is still hot (that’s why we see so many ex-Love Islanders join new shows before their tan from the villa has even worn off!). I imagine there’ll be plenty of late nights with the Palace press tream to determine how he should position himself.

"A good move for Mike would be to appear on shows like Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. The royal family has a strong military connection, and Mike’s already proved he’s made of strong stuff, so this would be a good move for him.”

Jill Scott

Former Lioness Jill Scott became a firm favourite with TV viewers during her time in the I'm A Celebrity jungle, and experts predict she's going to go on to big things after her jungle adventure.

The 35 year old could be in for some huge brand deals after the show and maybe even some more TV opportunities.

Celebrity manager Mayah Riaz predicts a sportswear range could be in store, and said: “With Jill being a footballer, I would imagine her collaborating with a sports brand such as Nike or Adidas for her own sportswear range. She could even have her own football boots range.”

Meanwhile, Natasha Hatherall thinks we can expect to see Jill on a quiz show in the near future.

"Jill’s personality shines, and she’s certainly hit career heights as a Lioness. Less brand deals and more TV for Jill – team captain on A Question of Sport at least, or maybe fronting up to the fellas on ‘a League of their Own’ and fronting coverage of Women’s football.

"As a Flat White aficionado and a coffee shop owner herself, we are thinking more Costa than Nespresso for our Jill," she predicted.

Owen Warner

Owen Warner will be inundated with TV offers after I'm A Celebrity experts predict, with hit shows such as Strictly Come Dancing and Celebs Go Dating no doubt eager to snap him up.

The 23 year old Hollyoaks actor will be one of the "biggest winners" of the IAC 2022 cast, with numerous career ventures on the horizon.

Sarah Blackhall from Clicky Media thinks Celebs Go Dating will have already contacted Owen's team. She said: “Heart-throb Owen already had a legion of fans hooked on his good looks from his stint on Hollyoaks.

"He’s been open about his love life outside of the show, he’s currently single after a string of high-profile partners. I’d be very surprised if the team at Celebs Go Dating haven’t already got Owen’s agent on speed dial. He’d be a big hit on the show.”

Presenting gigs and modelling jobs could also be in Owen's future, Luana Ribeira from Dauntless PR predicts.

“I predict Owen Warner will be one of this year’s biggest winners. As a Hollyoaks star, he started the series largely known only by a fairly young demographic. However, his willingness to throw himself into tasks and his likeable personality has won him fans across the board, including among those who had never heard of him before he went into the jungle.

"Expect to see him appear in the lineup of some more major reality TV shows like Strictly or Dancing on Ice soon in addition to appearing in high profile adverts and presenting slots on daytime TV.”

Scarlette Douglas

Scarlette Douglas already presents two hit shows, George Clarke's Flipping Fast and Worst House on the Street, but more hosting gigs could be in the pipeline for the 35 year old after her jungle venture.

She could be set to follow in 2016 winner Scarlett Moffatt's footsteps, Matt Alexander from Repp Media Limited believes.

He said: "Scarlette will undoubtedly have plenty of other presenting opportunities secured after her exit. Her bubbly upbeat personality was very noticeable in the camp and broadcasters will feel confident that she will continue to be a hit with viewers.

"Scarlett Moffatt also thrived in presenting roles after winning 'I’m a Celebrity' in 2016, so I can see Scarlette following a very similar path.”

Chris Moyles

Chris Moyles will no doubt heading straight back to Radio X after his jungle stint, but experts think he should focus on writing a tell-all book.

The 48 year old definitely has some great tales to tell, so could it be time for Chris to spill all? Natasha Hatherall from TishTash Communications thinks so.

She said: "We need a book from Chris – he’s a cynical one and has plenty of trans atlantic celebrity tales to tell. The lad from Leeds has had one cracker of a career – and might even turn to writing more.

"The ego seems to have waned a tad as Moyles slides into middle age, is it time to hang up the headphones and tell all?"

Boy George

Boy George proved to be a hit with viewers during his time on I'm A Celebrity and it looks like he could be returning to our screens sooner rather than later.

The 61 year old singer was regularly seen meditating and tapping, and one TV expert thinks this could lead him to his next career move.

Mayah Riaz, a celebrity manager and 'PR to the Stars', has revealed her predictions for George's next steps after his jungle stint, saying he could be heading into podcasting or daytime TV.

“We’ve seen Boy George is into tapping (EFT) and into breathing exercises. It’s clearly something he practises in his everyday life. I’d expect him to be snapped up by a meditation app such as Calm or Headspace.

"I can see him having his own TV segment on Lorraine talking about his well-being practices. Talking to experts in tapping, breathing experts to give viewers more insight," she explained.

Mayah also added: "Also, with his well-being practices and the impact of the Cost of Living crisis, he could have his own well-being podcast or a self-help type book. This could all result in him having his own show.”
