Garden Rescue couple left open-mouthed as Charlie Dimmock transforms garden with 'secret' new space | The Sun

A GARDEN Rescue couple were left open-mouthed as Charlie Dimmock transformed their garden.

The popular BBC One gardening show left one couple lost for words when they returned home to see their new outdoor space.

Jo and Jack wanted their new garden to suit their lovingly restored Victorian terraced house.

Charlie was delighted to take on the challenge, saying: “I’m so excited about this garden, it’s so nice to do a traditional Victorian garden.

"Jo and Jack are passionate about their house, it’s Victorian, they’ve restored it inside and they wanted that Victorian feel in the garden.”

The plan was to split the huge long garden into three different areas for the couple to enjoy.

They would be a new patio area with a water feature, a lawned area and secret spot for private events.

All of this had to be done with a budget of just £4,000.

After purchasing a truck full of flora the garden was bursting with colour.

A new bricked pathway also connected all the new areas together.

When Jo and Jack arrived back to see the transformation, they were left blown away.

Jo said: “Oh wow, that’s amazing. It’s screened off so well from the neighbours.

"Before now, looking back it was so plain, but now there’s so many different rooms, just wow.”

Jack added: “The water feature’s amazing. I love the path. I love how its got that cobbled look.

"There’s just so much interest and it’s somewhere to be proud of. It’s somewhere where we want to be outdoors, getting friends round, having BBQs.

"It’s going to be absolutely fantastic.”

Garden Rescue airs on BBC One and iPlayer.
