All of the Gogglebox favourites were back on screens on Friday, giving their view on the week’s television. The Channel 4 favourite usually has viewers in hysterics as the cast gives hilarious commentary on shows and films which aired in the last few days, but as the stars tuned into This Morning on St Patrick’s Day, Abbie asked a question which left viewers “feeling old” and in disbelief. 

This Morning aired a St Patrick’s Day special last week, with many famous faces from Ireland to mark the occasion.

As well as a real leprechaun whisperer, the ITV show introduced some of the most memorable Irish names from the world of music.

90s girl group B*Witched was among them and even treated viewers to a performance of their most popular number – C’est La Vie.

As many of the Goggleboxers such as siblings Peter and Sophie and friends Jenny and Lee danced along to the catchy song, Abbie innocently asked pal Georgia a simple question.

“B*Witched – who are they?” she questioned as Georgia admitted: “I don’t know.”

Millennials and other age groups will be more than familiar with the band whose music dominated the 1990s.

However, the music seems to be ahead of Abbie and Georgia’s time.

The 22-year-olds had no idea of the band or the famous song they were belting out.

Following the episode, angry fans took to social media in droves to share their thoughts.

@melissa___ said: “They don’t know who B*Witched are. #gogglebox.”

@KellyLouise93x said in shock: “Who’s BWitched???? WHO’S BWITCHED?!!! #gogglebox.”

While @russelltruran added: “Have you ever heard of B*witched? No. And now we all feel old… #Gogglebox.”

mikepriestley13 went on to complain: “The two girls don’t know who b witched are? I feel old #Gogglebox.” (sic)

@liamjmellor80 simply replied with a Gif that read: “I feel old.”

“THEY’VE NEVER HEARD OF B*WITCHED?! #Gogglebox,” @lightsandsounds quizzed.

“Does this mean we’re old?” Rosie went on to ask.

Gogglebox airs Fridays at 9pm on Channel 4.
