Hollyoaks has been running since 1995 and has seen countless stars come and go over the years.
The Channel 4 soap regularly includes steamy scenes but while some boundaries have been pushed, fully stripping off is simply not on the cards.
But away from the screen, many celebs have made the choice to go topless or completely nude and in doing so, showcased that they are fearless and proud of their bodies.

Whether it be from other projects or racy social media snaps, there have been many Hollyoaks stars who have stripped off away from the soap.
Gemma Atkinson
In 2016, former Hollyoaks actress Gemma Atkinson stripped completely naked for Women's Health Magazine.
The 37-year-old, who played Lisa Hunter on the show, took to Instagram and shared an unedited photo from the shoot alongside a powerful message to inspire women to love their bodies and feel comfortable in their own skin.
Admitting she wasn't keen in taking part in the photoshoot at first, Gemma changed her mind after realising it would highlight the importance of feeling comfortable with your own body.
Sharing the photo, the Strictly Come Dancing star penned alongside it: "So here it is! A behind the scenes of my @ukwomenshealth #nakedissue. (Taken by me on my phone off the computer screen on the day so NO PHOTOSHOP).
“When I was first asked to take part in this shoot my answer was No.
“In fact it was a “Naked? Are you kidding?!” But after a lot of thought and reading past issues and discovering why the Naked issue is out every year I jumped on board.
The ex-Emmerdale star added: “This issue is about woman being comfortable in their own skin. I’m in it along with 10 beautiful woman all of us different in physique, height, weight, you name it.
“The one thing we have in common is our mutual support for females. To stand up and say, this is ME. This is MY shape. This is MY body. And I am PROUD OF IT!”
Sarah Jayne Dunn
Sarah Jayne Dunn's Instagram is littered with sizzling snaps and since joining OnlyFans, she has posed topless several times for her loyal fans.
When looking at her OnlyFans bio, the blonde beauty can be seen posing topless with nothing but a racy suspender set on and black heels.
The 41-year-old joined the X-rated platform just over one year ago and in an exclusive chat with Daily Star in September, admitted she was "more financially secure" than ever because of her new racy job.
The blonde bombshell was sensationally sacked from Hollyoaks after it emerged she was flogging saucy snaps of herself on the site.
The actress played Mandy Richardson on and off for more than two decades, first setting foot in the village in 1996.
Speaking about losing her role on the show, she said on Instagram: "Leaving the show was never my intention of my choice but I believe in everything for a reason and I'm much happier now.”
Hollie-Jay Bowes
Hollie-Jay Bowes was best known for playing Michaela McQueen on and off for six years from 2006.
The actress was originally written out of the show in 2010 after she revealed details about a storyline that weren't meant to be public knowledge, but after a brief return, left the show for good in 2012.
Eight years after her character was last seen on screen, the 33-year-old sent her Instagram fans wild when she took to the platform and shared a racy selfie.
Posing completely topless for her thousands of fans, the blonde beauty put on a sultry display in the mirror, strategically covering her modesty with her arms.
Wearing nothing but a pair of tiny shorts, the star left little to the imagination as she ditched her bra and treated herself to a "she Sunday."
Sitting on her bed, Hollie showcased her toned pins and let her blonde locks cascade down her shoulders as she gave fans a glimpse of her life during the coronavirus pandemic.
Nathalie Emmanuel
In 2006, Nathalie Emmanuel began her on-screen career by starring as Sasha Valentine on Hollyoaks.
The 33-year-old enjoyed a four year stint as the character and although it was initially reported that she was axed, the star reportedly chose to leave the show when her contract ended.
The raven-haired beauty went on to make a name for herself in Hollywood, starring in blockbusters like The Maze Runner and the Fast and Furious franchise.
But it was Nathalie's role in the HBO phenomenon Game of Thrones that gave her worldwide recognition.
The actress joined the cast as Missandei in the show's third season, remaining for six years before the fan-favourite character was brutally killed off in the final season.
The fantasy series was known for its extensive use of explicit scenes and nudity and Nathalie's character was no different, with Missandei stripping off for an intimate scene with her love interest Grey Worm.
Davinia Taylor
Celebrating 10 years sober in 2019, former Hollyoaks actress Davinia Taylor stripped completely naked for a jaw-dropping photo shoot.
The 44-year-old, who is best known for playing Jude Cunningham from 1996 to 1998, shared a series of snaps on her Instagram to "expose insecurities" following her battle with alcohol addiction which she revealed almost killed her.
Alongside the black and white snaps was a lengthy paragraph as she detailed her personal battle with addiction.
She wrote: "Celebrating 10 years sober today!!! Not a drop of alcohol has passed my lips in over a decade. Which is incredible considering I was having withdrawal seizures when I tried to get clean all those years ago on my own."
"I had some pictures done of me in my birthday suit totally exposed to my all insecurities of judgement and not being enough."
The mum-of-four told her followers that after learning how to forgive herself, she now feels blessed and has shed her shame from her addiction.
She went on to say: "One day we will hack into the genetic code and shed some light on how to edit our epigenetics so no other man woman or child has to bare witness nor suffer the hell that is addiction."
Gillian Taylforth
Gillian Taylforth is best known for playing Kathy Beale in EastEnders, however in between her recurring stints on the BBC soap, she joined the cast of Hollyoaks in 2013 as Sandy Roscoe.
In 2011, the 67-year-old joined other stars and appeared naked in a magazine to raise awareness of age discrimination on television.
The actress posed alongside former Loose Women star Andrea McLean, Emmerdale actress Sherrie Hewson and Coronation Street ’s Beverley Callard for Best magazine’s Body Image issue.
The women spoke about how they have been denied roles because producers believe they are too old, stripping off for the daring shoot to prove that they should no be subjected to ageism.
Gillian admitted that she has found it harder to get work in television the older she gets.
She told the magazine: "In TV, it’s OK for men to be 50 or 60, but for women it’s very difficult. Older actresses can feel put by the wayside.
"I left The Bill three years ago, and since then TV work has been harder to come by – it probably started in my late 40s."
Jorgie Porter
In June this year, Jorgie Porter sent her fans wild after she stripped topless and bared all for a series of sultry snaps posted on her Instagram.
The star, who has played Theresa McQueen on the Channel 4 show on and off since 2008, looked sensational as she posed in a swimming pool while on holiday with her fiancé Oliver Piotrowski.
In one of the snaps, the 34-year-old arched her back and posed with just her hands protecting her modesty.
The blonde bombshell recently admitted she missed posing for lad mags, relating back to when she fronted the likes of Zoo, Nuts and FHM during the height of her career.
She revealed how much she loved stripping off for the magazines because of what it did for her confidence.
