I love stripping naked on TV and have no plans to stop – life is too short, says First Dates' Fred Sirieix | The Sun

FIRST Dates star Fred Sirieix said he loves being "outrageous" and strip off on TV – saying "life is too short" to worry.

The TV favourite – who stars alongside Gordon Ramsay and Gino D'Acampo on ITV series Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip – often leaves fans swooning when he strips naked on the show.

The daring trio skinny dipped in a secluded pond in Texas during their final leg of their US jaunt in 2020.

The French maître d', 50, and the Italian chef also got their kit off when they jumped naked into Gordon’s pool after losing a cooking contest at his home in California.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun about their cheeky antics, Fred said: "What can I say, it's just a bit mad.

"Life is too short to take yourself too seriously.

"Doing something quite extraordinary and quite mad and just go with the flow."

Although Fred and Gino have bared all, Fred joked that Gordon has no plans on stripping off anytime soon.

"We have a conversation and we do it," he continued.

"Gordon [Ramsay] would never do it of course, but you just have to just forget to take yourself too seriously.

"Like I said, life is too short. I mean it's not something I'm going to do in the centre of London of course but in the right places, if it feels right then come on.

"It's just funny, it's a bit outrageous and it's just fun to be a little bit outrageous."

The star opened up about the future of the ITV show and what it's really like behind-the-scenes with TV chefs Gordon and Gino.

Fred told us: "We will see if we can find the time to do another series, our diaries are a little bit difficult but we don't know."

"Me and Gino are always up for a laugh when we go travelling like this and Gordon is very serious.

"So just the fact that he's serious, I just find it funny and Gino just takes the micky out of him and I just laugh at the situation.

"He is so serious, I said to him to 'just chill out and enjoy life'… just relax and take it in and have fun."

Fred joked: "Gino is very wild, we had dinner recently and it was funny, I could not believe what was coming out of Gino's mouth."

Although a new series has not been confirmed, Fred said he hopes his next travel show will take him to India.

The star said: "I would love to go to India, I've never ben to India – it's one of my top destinations.

"It's a massive country, Kathmandu and Southeast Asia, I've travelled a little bit in South America but I'd like to do it again.

"There is more places in the world I haven't been, than I have been, so if I randomly had a map and threw a dart then I'd go anywhere.

"I have yet to go to a county that I don't find exciting or interesting. I think every country has something to offer."

The TV favourite is not shy when it comes to posing topless either.

He treated fans when he stripped to his tiny blue trunks on the Channel 4 spin-off show First Dates Hotel.

And the popular Frenchman recently showed off his incredible physique during a mid workout session.

Discussing his fitness routine, Fred told us: "I've always exercised and done sports since I was a little boy, fitness is part of my daily routine.

"I do 20 minutes of conditioning and plank, squats, push-ups and sit-ups.

"The Roman used to say a healthy mind and a healthy body, it's important to stay active.

"When I was younger I used to compete, I used to run and box. At one stage in my life, in my 40s, I used to train three hours a day.

"So sports is very much part of my life, now that I am getting older I can't compete for the World Cup, but I can certainly train to maintain my fitness level.

"As you grow older, it's more difficult and you don't realise until you're there. I can feel the difficulty of exercising but if you stop then it's finished, it's just being as fit as you can be at the age and situation you're in.

He said: "I have been eating LU biscuits since I was a little boy, my mum used to buy those and put them in the cupboard under the stairs and my brother and I used to always raid the LU biscuits.
