Im a Celeb hosts Ant and Dec announce another series shake-up as celebs leave jungle

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have announced another I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! shake-up.

This year’s series has so far seen four celebrities exit the infamous Australian jungle: Charlene White, Scarlette Douglas, Sue Cleaver and, most recently, Boy George.

Now, as the celebs continue to leave camp, Ant and Dec revealed that it will be a “free for all” for the remaining campmates and that Mike Tindall is no longer camp leader.

They shared with viewers on Tuesday night: “Here's a fact for you: Mike is no longer camp leader.

“Now that the celebrities are leaving every day, there won't be any more camp leaders.”

“There are no more chores for anybody – it's a free for all from here on in,” Dec added.

This series has already seen a number of changes, including in the first episode.

Rather than splitting into two groups as usual, this year's celebs found themselves separated into three groups, and immediately faced challenges upon their arrival to their respective camps.

Meanwhile, another huge change is the hotel the celebs are staying at once they’re evicted from the show.

For almost two decades, the campmates were whisked off to the Palazzo Versace Hotel upon their exit, but this year they’re staying at JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort and Spa.

The Sun reported that a TV insider said of the shake-up: “ITV has used the Versace ever since the series came to Queensland in 2004. Those classic scenes of the muddy, exhausted celebs arriving in the glamorous, gleaming lobby are part of I’m A Celeb’s very fabric.

“The new hotel is lovely, but just different to the bouji opulence of the Versace, which is so well-known to viewers.”

The JW Marriott Gold Coast may not quite match up to the opulence of the Versace Palazzo, but the celebrities are by no means slumming it.

The JW Marriott Gold Coast hotel boasts ocean view rooms and a stunning pool area, although it's expected to cost ITV less for the celebrities to stay here than the Versace.

While the Marriott appears to be significantly cheaper than the Versace, both hotels are five-star.

Boy George will have made his way to the Marriott yesterday, Tuesday 22 November, after becoming the fourth celebrity to exit camp.

Speaking to Ant and Dec after leaving, he said: "I'm sort of ready. I've had an amazing time. I have done a lot of things I would never have done.”

When the camp made leaving speeches at the start of evictions, George said: "I didn’t realise how tough it was gonna be. I have challenged all my control issues and where my head goes, but I have enjoyed being here with all of you people and it’s been a real adventure."
