I’m A Celeb huge format shake up as ‘not all’ celebs will survive first episode
I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! bosses have shaken up the show’s opening episode and viewers can expect a new way of life in the camp.
This year’s celebrity contestants – among whom include Love Island’s Olivia Atwood, A Place In The Sun’s Scarlette Douglas and Coronation Street’s Sue Cleaver – will be split into three groups instead of the usual two.
The already nervous celebs will face multiple challenges during their first appearance on the show and some of them won’t even make it into the campsite before the first show is over.

Executive producer Olly Nash spoke of ITV’s plans for the series to start off with a bang.
Nash said: “It’s much bigger than we’ve ever done before and we’re filming more (challenges) than we’ve ever filmed before. There’ll be more elements lasting over more shows than has happened before too, so it’s not all just going to be limited to show one.”

Olly then ominously teased that “not all the celebrities will be here in camp at the end of Sunday’s show”.
Usually the two campsites battle it out against each other within the first few days of the show’s launch and one receives luxuries, while the others are forced to live off rations.
However, producers are mixing things up and three camps could make things very interesting.
Olly explained: “The contestants will be coming into camp in three groups, in stages. The first three celebrities will be followed by another three celebrities and they will get the pick of the beds.”
The 2022 series boasts a whopping 24 bush tucker trials and a large number of them requiring two celebrities – meaning they will face twice as many punishments.
However, some lucky celebs will live a life of luxury in the newly-installed bunk beds, while two campers will be able to live it large in a motorhome.
Nash said that the bunk beds “are a first” for the show and the RV was “driven through the jungle about 35 years ago” but “broke down” and was “never moved”.
Despite its age, Olly assured fans that it will “make a very comfy home for two people inside there”.
