The presenter suffers from a chronic kidney condition called kidney dysplasia and she has had two kidney transplants because of it.

Sarah recalled having no memory of filming a Modern Family episode in which "Haley asked [Luke for] money," and admitted: "The entire episode I was asleep."

Sarah said: "I was not able to be awake for eight hours at a time… I was so exhausted all the time. I would be on set and would be filming, and I would be dead asleep, my head on the table."

Bachelor husband

Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams' magical relationship all began with an Instagram DM.

Wells appeared on JoJo Fletcher's season of The Bachelorette but was unlucky in love.

However, he did catch Sarah's eye and when he DM'd her, she thought it was "awesome".

She told the host on Jimmy Kimmel Live: "I was single, obviously, and was like, 'This is really awesome. You're being very forward and it's sexy and not aggressive but very confident and sexy,' and I liked that."

In 2018 after maintaining their long-distance relationship for nearly a year he moved from Nashville to Los Angeles into Sarah's home.

The couple got engaged while on a getaway together after nearly two years of dating.

Sarah announced the news on Instagram with a series of photos of Adams proposing and captioned them: "That can't eat, can't sleep, reach for the stars, over the fence, world series kind of stuff @wellsadams."

They were finally married last year after postponing due to the Covid pandemic.
