MASTERCHEF host Gregg Wallace showed off his stunning French holiday home as he escapes for a week with his family.

The BBC telly favourite, 57, is hunkering down at his property in the picturesque Provence, telling fans he is spending a week there.

Gregg took an image of the white-walled property revealing a covered al-fresco eating area.

Also outside, on the green manicured lawn, sits an array of comfy white sun loungers.

They are perfectly positioned by a glistening swimming pool ready for Gregg – who has transformed his life after losing 4.5 stone – to do some laps.

The villa also has a comfy yellow sofa scattered with cushions on which the family can soak up the sunshine.

Gregg can be guaranteed privacy at his holiday pad, with the accommodation surrounded by a stone brick wall, high trees and foliage.

Another image saw his wife and son Sid sat at a grey stone table and sharing some special time together.

Later on in the day he captured a stunning sunset over the pool and gushed: "amazing sunrise over the villa. Provence."

Heading inside, the property's homely cream walls and cabinets filled with books and candles could be seen.

Artwork filled the walls and a stone coloured sofa appeared perfect for some indoor relaxing.

Gregg strolled around the villa as he promoted his lifestyle brand, Show Me Fit.

Gregg then captured partner Anne-Marie blowing up a float ready for the next day's play.

Anne-Marie is a caterer who first made contact with Gregg online to discuss ingredients.

It happened after she tweeted the former greengrocer to ask if rhubarb really went with duck, after seeing him trying the recipe on a cooking TV show.

Gregg told HELLO! Magazine: "I just looked at Anna's photo and thought, 'Wow, she's pretty'. So yes, rhubarb, which was considered an aphrodisiac in medieval times, brought us together."

Meanwhile, Gregg recently revealed the truth behind his jaw-dropping weight loss.

The Masterchef judge told how he's never been on a diet, despite speculation.

He said: "I never went on a diet, I learned about healthy eating."
