Inside Peter Andre’s big 50th birthday celebrations as he heads to Dubai | The Sun
PETER Andre is set to celebrate his landmark 50th birthday on February 27, and he’s shared an insight into what he has planned.
The Mysterious Girl singer isn’t planning on a big party and instead plans to whisk his family on a grand getaway.
And celebrations have already begun, with the star opting for a lavish trip to Dubai.
Peter said: “Hopefully I’ll be in Dubai with the whole family. I guess it’s a bit of a birthday celebration. I mean, I’m not 50 until the end of the month so I’m getting in early – lol.”
Peter continued to say in his OK! column that he wants to celebrate “bit by bit” throughout the year, as opposed to having one big bash.
He shared: “I was always a bit freaked out about turning 50, but it’s coincided nicely with me celebrating 30 years in the industry.
“Focusing on the 30 and not the 50 sounds better! It sounds old but it really isn’t. I feel so young. I train, I love food, I love life.”
Peter certainly has a busy year ahead of him with the celebrations of his 30th year in the industry.
He’s also swapping singing for story-time and creating a new range of books for kids.
The "fun picture books" full of "pictures, hearts and aliens" are inspired by the imaginary worlds he creates for Millie, nine, and Theo, six, his children with wife Emily, 33.

Peter has even made sure to name the Super Space Kids characters after his own brood in his creative new project.
He is also dad to Junior, 17, and Princess, 15, who he shares with ex Katie Price.
This year, the star is also set to make his acting debut this year in a brand new movie, as well as bringing out a new album and going on tour.
As well as his new work projects, Peter has opened up on speculation Emily is pregnant again.
Rumours the musician is set to be a dad again were rife after his Instagram fans claimed to have spotted a Christmas clue.
They believed the number of Emoji love hearts he tagged in the caption was a telling sign that a new tot was on it's way.
The Mysterious Girl hitmaker has since taken to his New Magazine column to set the record straight.
Peter wrote of the speculation: "I think it's safe to say that even though we have discussed this many times, we absolutely have our hands full at the moment.
"Emily isn't pregnant but the amount of food I've eaten over the past month definitely makes me feel like I am."
