Inside Towie’s incredible £270 a night Thailand hotel as the cast film luxury special | The Sun

THE cast of Towie have headed off to Thailand to film special episodes of the ITVBe reality series, and it’s safe to say they’re staying in a very lavish hotel.

Their journey to get there wasn't smooth sailing after it was reported that the stars and producers were left "scrambling around" after their flights were suddenly cancelled without warning.

But since rocking up in Thailand, the cast have been out in force in bikinis and swimwear, enjoying the sunshine, the sandy beaches and sipping cocktails.

They’re staying at the stunning £270 a night Westin Siray Bay Resort & Spa in Phuket, and it comes with stunning views of Siray Bay and the surrounding area.

There’s an infinity pool overlooking the ocean and the rooms are huge with big double beds and balconies.

It boasts five-star luxury and the cast can take advantage of white-sand beaches and local watersports.

And it’s sure to be relaxing after a tricky time with organisation ahead of the flight.

A source exclusively told The Sun Online: "Everything was planned perfectly but disaster struck when all the flights out there got cancelled.

"It's left everyone scrambling around to get the cast and crew out there so the schedule doesn't slide even more.

"The entire thing has been such a headache."

Last month, we told how Towie bosses had planned the trip to Thailand as part of a huge overhaul of the show's format.

Usually, the stars of the show jet out to an exotic location for the opening episodes of a new series.

But in a big shake-up, producers decided to throw in the abroad trip after filming had already begun in a bid to spark more drama.

It will also be the first time that Towie has filmed in Thailand.
