Coronation Street viewers found it rather difficult to see the action during Wednesday night's episode as things became far too dark.
The nail-biting episode which saw Kelly Neelan's hitman take Gary Windass to the woods to murder him in cold blood left viewers on the edges of their seats.
But as the drama unfolded, many fans couldn't see what was going on as Gary was escorted to the woodland area to dig his own grave.
Taking to Twitter, viewers shared their thoughts on the deliberately low-lit scenes.
One social media user penned: "Christ alive can barely see what’s happening, it’s so dark."
Another shared: "Me trying to see what's going on because it's so dark in the woods."
A third person asked: "Why is tonight's Coronation Street filmed in the dark?"
Meanwhile a fourth viewer chimed: "Bit dark, isn’t it?"
During Wednesday's episode, Kelly was caught in a rather difficult situation when her hired hitman kidnapped Gary during her engagement party.
