Coronation Street viewers were left perplexed during Monday night's episode after they noticed a blunder with Leo Thompkins' phone while feeling convinced that they know who Stephen Reid's next victim will be.
Stephen has been trying his best to desperately cover his tracks for Leo's disappearance after he murdered him outside the factory last month.
Due to the fact that Stephen still has possession of Leo's phone, he has been attempting to throw Leo's dad Teddy and Jenny Bradley off their trail to discover where he is.
But Corrie viewers where left confused over the fact that Leo's phone still had battery life and that Stephen was able to access his phone with ease by entering his password into the device.
Meanwhile others now believe that Stephen may also kill Teddy in order to conceal his murderous secret.
Taking to Twitter, fans shared their thoughts.
One viewer wrote: "How the HELL did he guess the password so easily? And all now, the battery to that phone hasn't died?! How is no one seeing him with the phone?!"
Another said: "So, Leo’s phone battery is still fine. Anyone other than Jenny and Teddy who’ve tried to contact him, maybe the new job, will start questioning it all. Once Stephen texts Jenny they can get the phone traced. Pls let’s get rid of Stephen. So so boring and a bad actor."
A third shared: "Omg @itvcorrie I’m on the verge. How did Stephen get into Leo’s phone and how much longer do we have to listen to his stupid Canadian accent. So he’s gonna start tormenting Jenny and his dad with messages fgs. He’s always there giving his 2pence worth."
While others also shared their thoughts on Teddy's fate.
Taking to Twitter again, one viewer shared: "Maybe teddy could be Stephen's next victim I still think it's his wife."
"I think Stephen kills Teddy next," another echoed.
Later on in the show, Stephen overheard a conversation in the pub where the local punters discussed Leo's whereabouts.
After realising that Leo's phone could be traced by police, Stephen was evidently shaken with nervous.
As Corrie came to an end, Stephen could be seen smashing Leo's phone to pieces and throwing it in a bin.
But will the dismantled phone be discovered?
