ITV fans livid as favourite show cancelled all week in major schedule shake-up | The Sun

ITV fans have been left livid after a popular show was cancelled all week in a major schedule shake-up.

Sporting events often lead to broadcasters taking some of their regular shows off air to make space for the coverage.

This week, the racing is taking place at Cheltenham, and it means Loose Women has been taken off air for the rest of the week.

The programme aired on Monday at the usual time of 12.30pm, but will not be on any other day this week as ITV covers the racing instead.

The news has left fans of the show gutted, with one writing online: "Oh dear! How sad."

Another added: "Gonna miss my fave ladies this week."

Daytime telly fans will still be able to get their Lorraine and This Morning fix as both shows will continue to broadcast.

It comes as Channel 4 announced A Place in the Sun has been pulled from their schedule for this week.

Cheltenham Festival begins on Tuesday, March 14 and ITV will show five races live on each of the four days.

The Opening Show (8.30-10am) has been extended to an hour and a half and will be shown on ITV4 on the morning of each race day.

Coverage will then kick off on the ITV1 at 1pm and finish at 4.30pm each day.

Then you can see the final two races of the day on Racing TV and on a bookies' live stream service.
