James and Ola Jordan baby revelation as they share reason behind weight loss
James Jordan and his wife Ola have hinted that one of the reasons for their huge weight loss was their hope for another baby.
The former Strictly pair recently shed more than six stone between them, just months after they shared a snap of them in swimwear looking bigger than usual and admitting they had developed “mum and dad bods”.
There had been a backlash when dancer James suggested that he preferred his wife when she was thinner, but speaking on ITV’s Lorraine he explained that it was only because Ola was happier when she was slimmer and that they got in shape to get healthy.

The star, who shares two-year-old daughter Ella with Ola, told host Lorraine Kelly: “I was actually directly asked that question – do you prefer Ola thinner?
“I said yes I do but I prefer her thinner because she is happier thinner.
“And the thing is, we went to the IVF clinic – Ella is an IVF baby, everyone knows that – and we were actually told that if we want to conceive again it is going to help us a lot if we are both thinner.”
“A healthier size, because we weren't healthy, we were both in the obese category,” added the 44-year-old.
Ola, 40, also explained that when she shared the picture of the couple’s weight gain she had been “fed up” after gaining weight and didn’t feel like herself anymore.
“I needed a bit of a wake-up call and that’s what I decided to do," she said.
"I was hiding a lot, not taking pictures with Ella on holiday and things like that.
"I just needed a bit of a wake-up call. There was a party that day actually, that I didn’t go to, because I didn’t want to dress myself, I didn’t want to buy anything new, I was fed-up.
"So James went without me. I sat at home, had a glass of wine and then I just posted the picture.”

The pair came up with a new dance exercise programme and went on to lose six and a half stone between them.
