Justice for Alya as Blake faces consequences for her stabbing in Corrie

Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) will receive some good news in upcoming Coronation Street scenes, as she gets justice over her stabbing ordeal.

After being subjected to racist harassment by evil Griff’s extremist gang, Alya was hospitalised following a nearly fatal stabbing.

The culprit was Blake, a friend of Max Turner (Paddy Bever), who was said to have been inspired by the racist propaganda videos Max had previously posted online.

His initial target was Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon), but things took a turn when Alya saw what was about to happen and jumped in front of her.

Blake was soon tackled to the ground by Gary Windass (Mikey North) and Daryan Zahawi (Twana Omer), who has also faced previous harassment from the racist group.

Following the assault on Alya, Max was arrested for inciting terrorism, to which he plead guilty and is now awaiting sentencing.

Blake also took guilty plea, and Alya is soon informed of his sentence.

Confiding in Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) and Maria, she reveals that he has been sent down for 12 years.

Griff has already faced the consequences of his actions, after being arrested thanks to a sting operation carried out by Spider Nugent (Martin Hancock).

Spider had been masquerading as a member of the gang, but was actually working as an undercover officer, determined to put a stop to Griff’s evil crimes.

With the gang disbanded and Blake locked away for a very long time, will Alya be able to move on with her life?
