Kanye West's ex slams Kim Kardashian in scathing new TikTok accusing famous sisters of 'cultural appropriation' | The Sun

KANYE West's ex-girlfriend has slammed Kim and the entire Kardashian family for "cultural appropriation."

Actress and former Yeezy girlfriend Julia Fox liked a viral TikTok video accusing Kim and her sisters of objectifying Black culture.

The video starts off with a photo of Kim and boyfriend Pete Davidsonholding hands.

A caption over the photo reads, "When they stop dating black men and start being white again."

TikToker @thecindynoir appears and says, "Ok but can we talk about this one?"

"For years we have watched this family treat Black culture like it's a piece of clothing that they can take on and off," she continued.

Calling them the "Karwackians," she added, "The same hair styles we get objectified and oppressed for in this society, they are celebrated and elevated, and given more fame for having and wearing."

SHOWING SUPPORT

Julia Fox, who briefly dated Kanye after he and Kim broke up, liked the video trashing the family.

As they started their romance, Julia wrote in Interview Magazine that Kanye surprised her with a room full of clothing on their second date.

While it was revealed on February 14, 2022, that Kanye and Julia's short-lived romance ended  they reportedly "remain good friends."

Rumors began speculating that the two were on the verge of a split after Julia was seen deleting pictures of the two and liking Kim's photos.

A fan in an online forum tried to explain Fox's liking of the TikTok video, saying: "I’m sure Julia had bts stuff happen with the Kardashians (Kim) after her and Ye relationship ended… I’m sure every girl Ye dates gets some type of negative treatment by The Kardashians."

There was mixed reaction on the TikTok video.

One critic wrote: "FINALLY someone saying it! The amount of times I’ve told people who support them that they just objectify cultures and races to be “trendy."

Another said: "SO many ppl doing Kardashian product hauls, making them richer, & keeping them relevant they’d literally happily sacrifice all of us in the end"

But others defended the family: "Kanye was Kims stylist sooo… that does play in a little. No i dont agree with it just a thought."

"Why does it matter who they date? Love who you want to love. I don’t give them a thought lol but I don’t care who anyone wants to love," another wrote.

A third wrote: "To be fair I don’t watch them but it just literally makes sense, Kanye is a fashion artist it makes sense for him to influence her old style."

CULTURAL APPROPRIATION?

It's not the first time the Kardashians have been accused of cultural appropriation.

Khloe, 38, has had several unsavory outfits come back to haunt her.

One involved the mother-of-one dressing like a "pimp" in the mid-2000s for a party.

She wore a light blue blazer, matching pants, a white tank top, a top hat and multiple gold necklaces.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum stood in the middle of women four black women – which included her best friend Malika Haqq and actress Meagan Good.

In April, a photo of The Kardashians star from 2016 resurfaced of her.

The Hulu star displayed a traditionally Black hairstyle, known as the Bantu Knot style.

Khloe wore an Oakland Raiders T-shirt, had on knee-high boots, and a choker with her nickname on it.

According to US Weekly, celebrity stylist Justine Marjan worked on her hairdo.

Khloe originally captioned the picture with: “Bantu babe."

But it's not just Khloe that has received flack for her hair decisions.

Her older sister Kim, 41, also angered fans in March 2020 after rocking hair braids at Paris Fashion Week.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum shocked viewers by wearing the tight braids to her now ex-husband Kanye West's A/W 20/21 PFW show.

Kim's younger half-siblings Kendall Jenner, 26, and Kylie Jenner, 24, didn't appear to have learned from their big sisters' mistakes as they've both also been slammed for appropriating black culture.

In August 2019, Kendall drew backlash when she was photographed in braids while out in Los Angeles.
