Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh will not be dancing on Strictly Come Dancing this weekend after testing positive for Covid.
The 46-year-old is partnered with Graziano Di Prima but the duo have been forced to pull out of the BBC competition for this week duo to strict protocols.
A Strictly spokesperson confirmed the news in a Twitter post which said: "Kym Marsh has tested positive for Covid-19. As a result, Kym and Graziano will not be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing this weekend."
They added: "Strictly Come Dancing protocols mean that all being well, they will return the following week.”
On the show's epic return to Blackpool, the Strictly pair danced the Paso Doble to Only Girl (In The World)' by Rihanna and We Found Love' by Calvin Harris ft Rihanna.
Accompanied by supporting dancers, the actress moved fiercely across the dancefloor alongside her partner and the duo were awarded a score of 33 out of 40.
Despite being bottom of the leaderboard, the pair avoided the dreaded dance-off which instead saw Tyler West and Molly Rainford battle it out to remain in the competition.
And it was the radio presenter that said goodbye after Molly was saved by the judges.
While the upcoming weekend will be the first time Kym has pulled out of a live show, she was forced to pull out of training after suffering a panic attack earlier this month.
Despite wowing the judges with an incredible Argentine Tango, behind-the-scenes clip revealed Kym had been struggling to control her anxiety.
She then announced she would be taking a break from the dance studio to help ease her panic attacks.
During an appearance on BBC's Morning Live, Kym spoke out about her training struggles after she broke down in dance rehearsals.
She said during the show on Monday (November 7): "I will pull myself through, it is only one of those 24 hour things and I think you have got to get out there and do it, no matter what.
""Even if you have bits dropping off you have to get out there!" she concluded.
