Linda Nolan reveals cancer has spread to her brain in devastating health update
Linda Nolan has revealed that her cancer has spread to her brain in a devastating health update on Monday's Good Morning Britain.
The star, who found fame as one fifth of The Nolans – one of the most successful girl groups of all time, selling over 30 million records worldwide – first learned she had breast cancer in 2006. Her devastating diagnosis came six years after her older sister Anne’s and four years before sister Bernie’s.
Bernie tragically died from the disease in 2013, aged just 52, while Anne, 72, has since received the all-clear. Linda, who recently celebrated her 64th birthday, has incurable secondary cancer which has spread from her hip to her liver.
Appearing on Monday's GMB , Linda revealed that her cancer has spread to her brain as she vowed to make the most of every day.
It comes as Linda took to Instagram on Sunday to reveal she would be on Good Morning Britain, she said: "I’ll be on @GMB tomorrow morning at 8:20am, with some news" followed by a heart emoji.
Linda's 342K followers were quick to share their support as one person said: "God bless you Linda!, will be watching tomorrow, thinking of you! Sending lots of love" with heart emojis.
A different account put: "Big hugs lovely Linda" with a heart.
Another account wrote: "Sending you lots of love Linda" with hearts.
While a different fan added: "Sending so much love xx."
Good Morning Britain continues on weekdays at 6am on ITV.
