TV host Lorraine Kelly left her guest gobsmacked as she admitted to “nicking” something from him years ago.
The 63-year-old telly legend was back to front her self-titled ITV show on Thursday (March 30).
Following Paul O’Grady’s sudden death this week, Lorraine continued the tributes on her programme.

And speaking to Lorraine on the latest instalment was Paul’s pal and radio co-host Ken Bruce.
However, during their chat the national treasure left Ken with his jaw on the floor after she confessed to stealing something from him years ago.
“I was lucky enough to be on the Chats Of My Years,” Lorraine said, referring to his radio chat show.
“But when I was there, I nicked something from you,” she admitted.
Ken’s jaw then dropped to the floor and he proclaimed: "What?!”
Lorraine explained: “It was just before Christmas and it comes out every year and it’s on the top of my Christmas tree."
The show then cut to a picture of the “stolen” item which was a Christmas decoration, adorned with a photo of Ken’s face.
Lorraine then revealed how she takes good care of the decoration, wrapping it up in tissue and putting it away once the celebrations are over.
Referring to the item, Ken added: “I have to say it’s just a bit of paper,” followed by a laugh.
“It’s not the same though, it’s yours and it was on your desk,” Lorraine quipped.
She then added: “Did you not notice it was gone?”
“No,” Ken replied before chuckling. He added: “We had a few, like a few hundred.”
“Aw, I thought I was the only one,” Lorraine fired back.
The Lily Savage and Radio 2 star died “unexpectedly but peacefully” on Tuesday evening (March 28), confirmed his partner Andre Portasio.
Andre penned: “It is with great sadness that I inform you that Paul has passed away unexpectedly but peacefully yesterday evening.
“We ask, at this difficult time, that whilst you celebrate his life you also respect our privacy as we come to terms with this loss.
“He will be greatly missed by his loved ones, friends, family, animals and all those who enjoyed his humour, wit and compassion.
“I know that he would want me to thank you for all the love you have shown him over the years.”
