Lorraine slammed over ‘painful’ interview as viewers spot ‘awkward’ question

Speaking to the Jonas Brothers after their performance at Capital’s Summertime ball over the weekend, it wasn’t long before Lorraine mentioned their wives and children.
Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas are all married and have their own kids, all of which are daughters, which the Scottish host found ironic.
She commented: “I love the fact that you’re all surrounded by girls. You’ve all got girls haven’t you? Which is brilliant.”
Mentioning how Kevin and Joe both have two daughters, the ITV host was quick to highlight how Nick was the odd one out.
Lorraine added: “Come on you’re slacking, you’ve only got one, what’s going on?”
He replied: “I know just one, she keeps us very busy though.”
Nick and his actress wife Priyanka Chopra welcomed their baby girl Malti Marie into the world in 2022 via surrogate.
The 40-year-old revealed in the past that the decision to go down the surrogacy route was a “necessary step” due to medical complications.
Although the duo are private about their home lives, they shared that their daughter spent the first 100 days of her life in the ICU.

With many viewers aware of this, it wasn’t long before they took to Twitter to blast Lorraine’s frankness as many picked up on how awkward the brothers looked.
Shibsybbsydibsy commented: “This Jonas Brothers interview on Lorraine is painful! She’s said to Nick (Priyanka’s husband) he’s slacking as he only has one daughter! He looked so awkward. It’s 2023 are we still making unwelcome comments like these??”
yemandeeT added: “Jonas brothers look like they can’t wait for the interview is over.”
