Love Island 's Luca and Gemma are set for a steamy night as they are chosen to enter the hideaway.

Sitting at the firepit, Jay receives a text telling the islanders to decide which lucky couple get to spend some quality time together.

With the islanders unanimously voting Luca and Gemma, the 19-year-old says in the Beach Hut: "Finally! I feel like it has been a long time coming. So nice it’s just gonna be us two. I’m just buzzing.”

Prior to last night's dramatic recoupling, Ekin-Su decided she had unfinished business with Davide and reignited their spark by coupling up with him.

However, Davide is reluctant to let her back after she snuck off and enjoyed secret smooching sessions with Jay on the balcony.

Needing some help, Ekin-Su turns to Luca and asks him to play matchmaker with her and Davide.

Luca tells Davide: “She put her heart out there now in front of everyone. In the firepit to say what she said. She wants a chance, she wants to try and get back to the way you were."

Afterwards, Ekin-Su has a one-on-one chat with Davide and insists she is ready to make it up to the Italian hunk.

"I am ready to make it up to you, I am ready to try. It’s cool if we take it slow, it’s cool if we’re friends, it’s cool I’m not going to pressurise you at all. I just want to know that you’ll give me a chance?," Ekin-Su tells him.

Sensing Antigoni is feeling hostile towards her after she picked Davide, Ekin-Su pulls her for a chat to clear the air.

Referencing her choice, Antigoni says: "A lot of the girls were under the impression you were gonna pick Charlie yesterday, you gave that vibe."

Later, Ekin-Su receives a text telling to get ready to go on her first date with Davide.

Speaking in the Beach Hut, the Turkish actress can't hide her excitement, saying: “I feel emotional, I feel romantic, I feel like this is the best things that could happen right now.”

While Davide says to the boys: “I will try and open myself a bit more," Luca plants another idea in his head as he says: "You’ve got to end the date in a kiss you know..”

The same day, the islanders are pleasantly surprised when they sit down for a morning brunch in their couples.

The conversation between islanders quickly turns to last night's recoupling, with Jacques telling Paige: “The speech last night, I believe that was a special moment. It made me feel so full inside.”

Luca has similar praise for Gemma, saying: “Honestly, it was a good speech and I’m just glad we’ve got something very special going on.”

Tasha and Andrew are quick to gush over their feelings for each other, with Andrew admitting he "hasn't felt like this in a long time."

Tasha agrees as she says: "I’ve not had a guy that looks at me the way you do," and later goes on to compare their budding romance to how it's portrayed in movies.

Later that evening, Andrew receives a text asking all Islanders to gather at the fire pit.

The islanders learn the public have been for the most compatible couple as Paige reads: "Those with the fewest votes risk being dumped from the Island tonight."
