Love Island fans confused as Damis ring goes missing despite packing it for Indiyah

Love Island fans were left confused on Sunday night, after a ring Dami Hope had packed in a suitcase for Indiyah Polack mysteriously vanished before reaching her in the Casa Amor villa.

The girls had been whisked off to a second villa to enjoy a week without their partners as they got to know a new batch of Islanders who would test their commitment to their current partners.

To help them get through the week away, the boys in the villa had packed suitcases for their partners.

While the boys were busy packing, Dami, who said the boys were in "trouble" with the new girls, came up with the idea of putting something special in their cases to help their lovers know they were firmly on their mind, and in his case, it meant putting a ring in her bag.

However, when the girls were unpacking their luggage after it had arrived, none of Dami’s possessions were among her things, leading the bombshell to feel heartbroken at having been so easily forgotten, when some of her fellow contestants such as Gemma Owen and Paige Thorne had not been.

Fans watching at home were quick to notice items that they had watched Dami pack were now missing, with some even suggesting that show producers had deliberately tampered with the items and removed them to stir up drama on the show.

Venting their frustration on Twitter one viewer wrote: “Wait did the producers remove the ring Dami put for Indiyah????”

While a second posted: “I thought Dami gave Indiyah his ring??? Wtf??? #loveisland have you set something up because this looks fishy."

“PRODUCERS CAMERA CREW SOMEONE TELL INDIYAH THE RING IS IN THE CASE," a third exclaimed.

“Not the producers taking Dami’s ring out of the suitcase," another complained.

The Love Island couples are currently being put to the test with the return of Casa Amor on Sunday evening, July 3, as twelve new Casa Amor girls and boys joined the contestants.

Over the next few days the newcomers will be trying their best to win over the hearts of their fellow Islanders, meaning some previously established couples may no longer be safe, or as strong as their partners had originally believed.

Will the absence of a trinket from Dami cause Indiyah’s head to turn? Or will her love for the Dublin based microbiologist manage to survive the week?

Love Island continues every night at 9pm on ITV2.
