Love Island sparks ‘bullying’ row as Jess slams Zach after cheating confession

Love Island: Catherine cries during row with Sammy

Love Island fans accused Jess Harding of “bullying” following Thursday night’s episode after she showed her disapproval of Zach’s confession.

After he explained the situation, she fumed: “Once a cheat always a cheat Zachariah. A leopard doesn’t change its spots, Zachariah. True colours are now showing.”

However, it wasn’t only Jess who shared this opinion as Ella chimed in to agree saying it could happen again.

Despite Molly, who’s coupled up with Zach, applauding his honesty, Jess remained disgusted with his admission.

As she refused to let it go, it wasn’t long before viewers took to social media to slam the 22-year-old’s actions.

@jmulaann commented: “Jess is giving bully when it comes to Molly. She always has something negative to say towards Zach and Molly it’s weird.”

@ShamrockFleets added: “I don’t get the hype over Jess. She’s been giving me mean-girl vibes from the beginning. She just comes across as a bully to me. She’s so insecure in herself that she will tear you down to make herself feel good.”

@tonidochertyx tweeted: “Ella and Jess are actual cows [sic] they want to f**k with Molly’s head. Bullies.”

“Jess is a bully,” @ahbeny1 said as _xJosephinex added: “Jess and Mitch are bullies they can get in the bin.”

After Zach was put down by Jess and Ella, he responded: “I look forward to the day Where I’m with somebody I don’t want to cheat on, put it that way.”

Later on once the game had ended, Jess spoke to Molly about her strong opinions as she explained she’s seen it happen through her own past experiences.

She said: “I’ve seen it in broad daylight.”

However, defending him, Molly said: “See I’ve seen it opposite, I’ve seen people have been cheaters and then they’ve been together, happy, married, and kids.”

Jess replied: “Well if you’ve seen that then- I still go by that term.”

Elsewhere, Zach and Molly enjoyed their first date where they brought up the comments Jess had made.

Molly confessed she thought her and Ella had been trying to stir a reaction from her, although she didn’t like what they were doing.

Admitting he wasn’t phased by the jibes, the duo seemed smitted as they renjoyed some alone time away from everyone else.

Love Island continues weeknights on ITV from 9pm.
