Love Island star appeared on EastEnders ‘a lot’ and replaced major character
Love Island star Olivia Hawkins appeared on multiple TV shows and films before she joined the winter 2023 series.
Days into her debut on the ITV2 dating show, she appeared on an episode of EastEnders which had been filmed prior to her heading out to the villa.

Her appearance left her fans utterly perplexed as the unexpected stint appeared on air, but Olivia has now said that wasn't her first time on the soap.
Speaking to Daily Star, Olivia said: "I've worked on [EastEnders] quite a lot. I've done some background work and I was also a stand in for Whitney [Shona McGarty]."
She added: "They're such an amazing group of people. It's such a fun set and everyone's so lovely."
Olivia also said she had "forgotten" that the episode she appeared in of EastEnders was coming out while she was in the villa but said she understood that people were confused over her rare debut.
And it wasn't just the soap she appeared in, Olivia also confessed she worked on a TV show with Iain Stirling – and even found out she'd got her Love Island gig while on set with him.
She said: "There was a thing I did called Buffering with Iain Stirling. That was so funny actually because I remember I was on set and getting a call from the [Love Island] producers.
He was sat on the opposite side of the room. It was a really weird moment because I remember whispering to someone on the phone like 'Iain is here with me', and they were like that's so weird."
Buffering is a show created by Iain which Olivia worked on before she went on the villa.
The TV star hasn't done too many acting gigs since coming out of the show, but it's something she plans to go back to.
Olivia added: "I'm focusing on social media at the moment, but I'm definitely going to get back into acting. I really want to dip into presenting as well. I've always wanted to do that."
