Masked Singer fans convinced iconic TOWIE star is behind the identity of Pigeon

The Masked Singer UK fans are convinced that an iconic The Only Way Is Essex star is behind the identity of Pigeon.

Over the weekend Pigeon appeared on the ITV1 guessing programme when they sang No Scrubs by TLC.

Clues that played out on the show saw the loveable character walking around London and speaking with an Essex-like accent.

On the night, Mo Gilligan was the first of the judges to speculate that Pigeon could be The Only Way is Essex's Gemma Collins, which then led to an onslaught of similar guesses on social media.

Taking to Twitter, fans have been speculating about all of this year's characters, with Pigeon being one of the hottest topics of discussion from the show at the moment.

One person wrote: "I think Pigeon is Gemma Collins, definitely sounds like her."

"I’m convinced Pigeon is Gemma Collins. Sounds like her so much. My husband guessed Lulu immediately. Which is annoying as I say on her lap when I was about three so feel I should have guessed her first," added another.

A third speculated: "If Pigeon isn’t Gemma Collins I’ll be AMAZED."

While other fans flocked to Reddit to discuss the possible identities of Pigeon.

"SURELY THATS NOT GEMMA COLLINS," penned one.

While another said: "Pigeon = Gemma Collins."

Some fans aren't fully convinced by the Gemma theory though.

"Pigeon is Denise Van Outen the voice sounds just like her! Definitely not Gemma Collins that’s what they want you to think! Listen carefully to the voice and you’ll hear," penned one on Twitter.

While someone on Reddit said: "Something screamed Katie Price for Pigeon to me."

And another added: "Pigeon = Originally thought Gemma Collins… now reconsidering as Amy Child's after seeing the diamonds all over the body and the carrot clue."

Other names that have popped up are comedian Catherine Tate and Dragon's Den Sara Davies.
