MasterChef viewers slam chefs for serving hungry firefighters tiny portions
MasterChef viewers have called out contestants for serving "small" portions to "ravenous" firefighters in the latest episode.
The chefs were tasked with creating a main course and dessert for 120 emergency responders on Tuesday ( May 23).
The BBC contestants were split into two teams as they raced to prepare the dishes at a firefighter college in Gloucestershire.

The blue team decided to cook a roasted cod in Thai coconut broth, while the red team went for a venison Wellington.
But viewers were quick to point out the portions and joked the firefighters would need to stop off at McDonald's after.
One person said: "The Wellington is too small for me. I'd be starving after."
Another wrote: "Sorry but if you're a ravenous firefighter you don't want MasterChef size portions to refuel."
While a third said: "Bet all those firefighters are down McDonald's straight after this lunch! #MasterChef."
Viewers also slammed John Torode and Gregg Wallace for their "passive-aggressive" remarks towards the hopefuls.
The pair provided commentary as they offered their advice to the chefs, but it didn't go down well with the contestants.
"Passive-aggressive Gregg and John on these mass catering tasks is pretty tiresome," someone tweeted.
Another said: "Bloody hell Gregg don’t be such a debbie downer."
A third person commented: "Not enjoying Gregg aggressively shouting at stressed contestants “how are you feeling right now?” There in a f***ing timed competition, you muppet."
Another added: "Oh shut up you egg head with your faux 'ooh this is getting tense' bulls***."
The firefighters were left impressed with contestant Chariya after she came up with a last minute dessert.
She made biscuits after she forgot to add eggs to the batter in her coffee cake.
Speaking about the biscuits, one of the firefighters said: "It was absolutely gorgeous, can't really fault it 10 out of 10, are there any seconds?"
MasterChef airs on Monday, Tuesday and Fridays at 8pm on BBC One.
