Mitch's brother Avery suddenly collapses during EastEnders showdown
Newcomer Avery Baker’s (Omar Lye-Fook) arrival to Walford in EastEnders doesn’t get off to the best of starts.
Aside from the fact his brother Mitch (Roger Griffiths) isn’t pleased to see him, Avery is also rushed to hospital after collapsing.
Avery makes his arrival to Albert Square on Monday in a posh car, which immediately annoys the market traders.
As Avery’s gathering at the pub gets underway, Mitch enters with Karen (Lorraine Stanley), thinking he’s there to have a birthday drink – and both are very surprised to see Avery.
The next day, things are tense at the Taylor’s as Avery impresses Mitch’s family, but he refuses to give his brother the time of day.
At the pub, Mitch snaps at Avery, pointing out he wasn’t there for him when he needed him.
Eventually, Mitch agrees to help Avery with a job but quickly realises it’s dodgy.
Furious at his brother, Mitch tells him to stay away.
Later on, Avery arrives to talk to Mitch, but he collapses – what’s going on?
Is Avery seriously unwell?
When Felix (Matthew Morrison) and Finlay (Ashley Byam) arrive, will they reveal what’s wrong with their dad?
