The 14th season of the popular CBS spin-off has already been a rollercoaster so far, with the sudden disappearance of their team leader and returning enemies to contend with. As G Callen (played by Chris O’Donnell), Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) and the rest of the agents tackle high-stakes cases each week on NCIS: Los Angeles, an important member of the crew has shared a revealing behind-the-scenes look at a future episode.
Production manager Rick Tunell has given fans a preview of the 11th episode of NCIS: LA’s 14th season.
In his latest Twitter post, he also confirmed the episode will be titled Best Seller.
This mission will most likely kick off the second half of the new season, as the current instalment will be taking a break over the Christmas holidays.
So far, season 14 is confirmed to be airing up to November 13 with episode six, Glory of the Sea, but fans should expect at least a couple more episodes before the break.
While millions of viewers await the next mission coming up this Sunday, Rick’s location snap has offered some taste of what’s to come later in the season.
He captioned the post: “First shot 8:34am. Day #5, Ep#1411, ‘Best Seller’.”
The shot reveals what could be a lifeguard’s post overlooking the LA coast at dawn.
Some NCIS fans were struck by the picturesque first shot of the day, which features the morning sun breaking over stunning clouds and a flock of birds.
Twitter user@barbaralowenkop replied: “Just beautiful, thank you! Loving the show…”
While another of Rick’s followers Ange Hale simply added: “Wow.”
The image seems to confirm one of the team’s next missions could be taking place on the beaches of California.
The open sea could be the perfect place for a high-speed boat chase, or else the agents may have to wade through crowds of beach-goers to find their mark.

Either way, fans should expect nothing less than more action-packed missions and plenty of drama coming their way over the next few months.
Rick’s update seems to confirm filming is making good progress, and fans shouldn’t have to wait any longer than usual for new episodes to hit screens.
NCIS: LA will be returning this Sunday with the fourth episode of season 14, Dead Stick.
A synopsis for this episode reads: “When Aiden Hanna’s plane crashes and he is accused of being at fault for the accident, the NCIS team must investigate to clear his name.”
“Roundtree considers how he wants to handle the aftermath of the incident with the LAPD.”
Agent Hanna will have to balance his NCIS mandate with his personal feelings when his own son Aiden (Tye White) is blamed for an accident he may not have caused.
Meanwhile, one of the show’s newest operatives, Devin Roundtree (Caleb Castille), is conflicted about how to escalate an incident of racial profiling which occurred last season.
NCIS: Los Angeles season 14 continues Sundays on CBS in the USA. A UK release date is yet to be announced.
