New reality show in chaos as contestants demand to leave after Queens death
A new reality show is reportedly up in the air as contestants filming in South America want to come home after hearing about the Queen’s death.
The Challenge, which has cast members from both Love Island and TOWIE, is a physically gruelling “competition” show by MTV which is planned to be broadcast on Channel 5.
But production is said to be in chaos because the contestants are so upset by the Queen’s death on September 8, they want to quit filming and return to the UK.

A source said that filming is currently in Argentina and as is the norm on a reality show, the cast isn't allowed access to their phones.
However show bosses made an exception in this instance as they thought the contestants deserved to learn about the monarch's death.
But it is causing some “issues” apparently as it has upset some of them who now want to leave.
The source told The Sun: "They understand it's an emotional time and a monumental moment in history, so they appreciate why some of the stars feel unsettled about being away from home at this time.
"The producers are doing their best to get them all to stay.”
It also recently emerged that Kaz Kamwi, Marcel Somerville and Arabella Chi are among the contestants The Challenge has nabbed.
In other reality show news, Love Island star Olivia Attwood has reached out to her fans for help finding her Range Rover after it was stolen from her driveway.
The TV star took to Instagram to share photos of her black Range Rover as she told her followers that the vehicle had been stolen just shy of 1am on Thursday morning (September 15).
She wrote: "This car has just been stolen from my driveway, about 15 mins ago. If anyone in Manchester sees it, offering reward. It has a tracker and we have camera images of thieves.
In a separate post she wrote: "We also know the car has no fuel so anyone in petrol stations in Manchester/Cheshire area within the next hour please keep your eyes open."
She added: "It's a black Range Rover Vogue. For those asking BX18 WZK with URBAN across the bonnet. Please share xxxx."
Olivia wrote: "They have been chucking out dog towels/clothing from car on route so if you see any random clothing on the street in this area you think could be mine please take a picture and send location."
The star was inundated with messages from her followers as they attempted to help her.
The car has yet to be found.
