Nina Warhurst praised for picking apart potential new PM in shouty interview

Nina Warhurst was praised by fans as she "calmly picked apart" Nadim Zahawi in a "shouty" BBC Breakfast interview

Mr Zahawi is hoping to be in with a chance at becoming to new Conservative leader, replacing Boris Johnson when he steps down in the autumn.

The current Chancellor Of The Exchequer announced days ago that he would be throwing his hat into the ring for the role of Prime Minister.

Putting Nadim to the test Nina quizzed if he was the right man for the job given his own "personal wealth".

She asked: "You say you understand that people are hurting badly and that's why you took the job as Chancellor, your personal wealth is beyond most people's wildest dreams, do you feel that you are someone who can associate with normal people?

"Can they associate with you and look at you as someone who knows how they are feeling?"
